GLEE: 8 (Vague) Teases About ‘Shooting Star’

April 8, 2013 by

GLEE is no stranger to tackling difficult and controversial subjects, but Thursday’s episode “Shooting Star” is quite likely the most unnerving hour the series has ever done.

While I can’t say too much about what goes down, here are a few teases about what you can expect…

  • First, here’s the photos from the episode and what Fox officially says about “Shooting Star”: “The members of New Directions are prepping for Regionals, but when an unthinkable event occurs at McKinley High, perspectives are put into order.”
  • The hour is solely centered on the McKinley High School students. And while I know it won’t be the case, I wish there was a way the next episode would focus on them as well.
  • Brittany inspires this week’s glee club theme.
  • Speaking of Brittany, I’ve seen a lot of anti-Sam and anti-Sam/Brittany remarks lately, and I’m very curious if this episode will shift that at all. By the time the hour is over, there’s no doubt about how strongly he feels about her.
  • The cast clearly steps up to the challenge in “Shooting Star,” but the episode’s biggest standouts? Jane Lynch (Sue), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), and Chord Overstreet (Sam).
  • Kitty is more likeable in the episode than she has been the entire season…combined.
  • Ryder is VERY determined to find out who has been CATFISHing him, no matter what the consequences might be.
  • When the aforementioned “unthinkable event” happens, not everyone will necessarily be together…

So that’s all I can tease for now. But if you have some questions about the hour, leave them in the comments section and I’ll see what I can (and can’t) answer…

GLEE airs Thursdays at 9 PM on Fox.

Except that Sam felt ~strongly and proposed to every single one of his girlfriends. So forced and fake.

  2. june on April 8th, 2013 8:44 pm

any blaine teasers you can share? 🙂

  3. lol on April 8th, 2013 8:47 pm

No one gives a shit about Sam’s feelings tho.

  4. Iya on April 8th, 2013 8:48 pm

I agree Carmen. And the comments aren’t anti Sam, they’re anti the writers making hime the white male hero who can do no wrong of the season.
Anyways, I’m still hoping for some legit Brittany storyline without him involved.

  5. Katie on April 8th, 2013 8:48 pm

An entire season hasn’t made me warm up to the new McKinley I highly doubt this one episode will change my mind. And if the rumors about what the “unthinkable event” is then no. I won’t be watching that.

And lol Sam. He’s basically proclaimed marriage to like, 3 of the girls he’s dated? Sit down and reevaluate your life child. His relationship with Brittany has been the most forced and uninspired one yet.

  6. sande on April 8th, 2013 8:49 pm

Look. nobody likes Bram. I don’t get why the writers are still pushing the idea of 2 athletic blondes together. They could’ve created epic storylines with Samcedes and Brittana. Both are interracial couples, Samcedes’ story could’ve revolved around Sam’s family’s financial situation, and Brittana could’ve been a young lesbian relationship that works. They can shake things up, sure. But when you bring about a couple who looks like they’re cousins/siblings… who doesn’t even sound good when they do a duet.. it’s just… begging for backlash. Also Samcedes & Brittana had chemistry. Brittana especially felt organic. Bram’s just… eye candy.

  7. Leslie on April 8th, 2013 8:49 pm

Last year, there were no doubts that Sam felt strongly for Mercedes. It was shown in several episodes. And now he doesn’t even remember who she is.

And were supposed to take him and this new relationships seriously?

  8. Scoob on April 8th, 2013 8:49 pm

You say that likes that’s going to change anything. Bram is still bland, boring and forced. And I really wish they would stop duet-ing (or singing period really) because neither Chord or Heather are good singers. Thank god Heather will be on pregnancy leave for most of next season so I won’t have to endure this couple for much longer.

  9. Jen on April 8th, 2013 8:49 pm

This isn’t new. Sam also felt strongly for Quinn and Mercedes. I wonder who will it be next season?

  10. Lou on April 8th, 2013 8:50 pm

I really don’t understand why they’re still trying to force B.ram. It’s baffling. In the future, they will be used as the very definition of “spite ship”. I’m not even angry anymore, just resigned to the fact that we’ll never get our happy ending. All the best Heather, it was a pleasure watching you in the first three seasons.

  11. Red on April 8th, 2013 8:50 pm

Really not looking forward to this episode. Glee doesn’t do controversial subjects well at all.

  12. Dona on April 8th, 2013 8:51 pm

But sam’s always like that so for me he’s a nobody. I used to watch glee because I love seeing talented people like Chis, Naya, Lea and Jayma on my screen but now is fill with bland singers and actors like the boy who plays sam and Darren. So I won’t watch until it’s worth it.

  13. Cami on April 8th, 2013 8:52 pm

“By the time the hour is over, there’s no doubt about how strongly he feels about her” LMAO just like he felt about Quinn when he proposed or when he insisted and insisted to have Mercedes back because he loved her? LMAO yeyyy more Bram the couple NOBODY cares about. Keep flopping Glee!

  14. Olivia on April 8th, 2013 8:53 pm

Keep trying to make Chord Overstreet happen. Not working. Because he sucks on screen. Same as Bram. Same as the newbies. Gold star for trying though.

  15. K on April 8th, 2013 8:54 pm

Sam is a joke of a character at this point. It seems that whatever girl he’s with for the week is his reason raison d’être (I mean COME ON, who gives someone a promise ring after knowing them for what…2 weeks??). Why anyone would take his incredibly forced and ridiculous excuse for a “relationship” with Brittany is a mystery to me. After this season I’m quite sick of Sam which is a shame since I used to like him. Not watching this episode anyway since there is no New York. 🙁

  16. Jennie on April 8th, 2013 8:55 pm

Sam proposed to every girlfriend he ever had. He’s that guy who gets too serious too fast. Nothing can ever make him seem real after that. He’s promise ring Sam, dudebro who wants to get married after a hug and a vague mention of a date. So Sam/Brittany will be just as stupid as everything he had with Quinn and Mercedes and his right hand. Dude blew his wad early.

  17. pokemon tiramisu on April 8th, 2013 8:55 pm

Sam feeling strongly that i snoozed lstening to More Than Words. Bram does not have chemistry. they are trying so ard to shove it in our throats to like them. and they are wondering or being spiteful to brittana or samcedes fans? these Glee writers seem to be more delusional than some Glee fans

  18. sara on April 8th, 2013 9:01 pm

sam is the most boring character in the world no one cared when he was in love with quinn (and that’s when glee was actually good) no one cared when he was in love with mercedes and now he’s just annoying because he’s taking up all the screentime while the actual stars of the show get nothing on the NYC side. can he flunk out and move back to stripperville usa pls

  19. heather on April 8th, 2013 9:02 pm

i dont think anyone doubts tha tSam is obsessed with Brittany. THe fact is that brittany does not love him nor is bram a believable couple. Brittana has way too many loyal fans and will never accept this no matter hos much its shoved down our throats. Also, there has been no focus at all on their ‘relationship’ everyone forgets they are together and not just a brothe rand sister look alike. I’m not anti-sam, but definitely anti- bram. Not believable and no thanks. We all know they are not endgame

  20. Lisa on April 8th, 2013 9:06 pm

It’s unfortunate that this entire season has been spent forcing the newbies, Sam, and Blaine down our throats. The writers don’t seem to get it, or rather, just insist on pissing off their fans just to spite them. As many times as they have tried to force the Brittany and Sam relationship and everyone tells them it isn’t working they still continue on their merry way forcing this relationship. Sam has confessed his undying love to EVERY girl he has dated and then they are never mentioned again. There hasn’t been 1 mention of his relationship with Mercedes this entire season when all of last season he spent chasing her and confessing his love for her.
Regardless, I won’t be watching this episode given the topic that it covers. Unfortunately Glee has went from a show that I used to love and characters that I use to follow and enjoy watching their progress to a show that I just want to end.

  21. Alex on April 8th, 2013 9:07 pm

I’m not really feeling connected to the McKinley side at all. I don’t know how I feel about more episodes with no NYC in them. At this point, I only watch for Rachel, Kurt, and Santana and I like them Finn, Blaine, and Brittany free. I don’t like how forced everything is in McKinley. The story-lines are contrived and weak, the songs are bland, and there is an overuse of Blaine and Sam. Speaking of Sam, I’m really disappointing in him this season. It’s like the writers don’t know the meaning of balance and subtlety. Sam used to be a nice, simple guy who was a likeable secondary character, now he’s used in almost every episode, saving the ND, and being the second carnation of Finn. His relationship with Brittany is extremely forced and lacks chemistry both acting wise and vocally. When Brittana broke up, I was glad thinking we might finally get some focus on Santana romantically… but no, the show rushed to create Bram, the worse case of character “pair of spares” that I have ever seen. Continuing to force that relationship is just making me like Sam even less. Mercedes was his best match and I loved their songs; I’m beyond disappointed that the relationship that gave Sam the most depth has now been erased.

  22. confused on April 8th, 2013 9:12 pm

I’m thoroughly confused with the Glee writers’ obsession with giving the fans exactly the opposite of what they want to watch. Don’t they want ratings? Glee’s tanking and it’s tanking hard, and why is that happening?
    Let me list some stuff:
    a. They’re not listening to the audience
    b. They can’t spread out the focus (too many new kids. Thank god The Glee Project is canceled!)
    c. They can’t keep a good thing going (Brittana, Samcedes, even Puck and Quinn had a lot of potential..)
    d. Once they found the moneymaker, they stick to it no matter how important it is to get the storylines right. I remember Blaine getting to sing in freaking 3-4 songs an episode. His voice isn’t even that good. Get Artie to sing more! Now THAT’s a voice I can get behind of.
    e. Someone tell me why Brittany said Santana’s still her best friends but neither of them ever mention the other, while Kurt, Rachel, Blaine and Finn get to talk out their feelings all the time! Santana’s been helping Rachel with her love triangle & talking about Blaine with Kurt, yet nobody asked her how she feels about Brittany? I’m not even an ‘angry lesbian blogger’ and I get sad about that.
    f. When your cast is dying to get out of the show, you must not be running the show right. I guess you can’t expect a lot from a spiteful showrunner like Ryan Murphy. I saw what he did to Dianna Agron in The New Normal. He really needs to stop projecting himself into his shows.

I can go on and on, but my breasts ache with rage right now, so.. bye.

  23. Caitlin on April 8th, 2013 9:59 pm

Anything you can tease about blaine and his reaction to the shocking event

  24. Jaime04 on April 9th, 2013 2:14 am

Wow, harsh much? I don’t mind Bram together. I know they won’t last
But they are cute. I enjoy the NY side better, but always give
Episodes a chance. (although this one will be tough due to subject matter)

  25. Snixx on April 9th, 2013 3:16 am

No one cares about Sam and what he feels, Bram is fake and forced, no chemistry, Heather has amazing chemistry with Naya, they made Brittana’s love the most beautiful love and Couple on TV.

They’re trying so hard with Chord Overstreet this Season, they need to stop, he is boring, can’t sing, can’t act and is not even funny.

Glee needs to get rid of the Mc Kinley Side and Brittany, Blaine, Tina,Artie and Finn needs to go to New York and they need to get the 3 Big Couples Brittana, Klaine and Finchel back together.

  26. Marie on April 9th, 2013 6:10 am

    No one care about Sam…

  27. Cem on April 9th, 2013 11:24 am

Well then. Looks like one person decided to make it clear how much they don’t like Sam. No one’s fooled by you changing your name for every comment.

Some of us do care about Sam. Sam, Kurt, and Santana are the characters I tune in to see every week.

As for Bram, I don’t like it either, but enough is enough. Aren’t you sick of complaining about it? We all know it doesn’t last, but for now that’s what it is, so learn to deal with it.

  28. Mark on April 9th, 2013 11:57 am

No it’s not one person, most of fandom don’t like him right now so you are the one who need to deal with it.

  29. Loralee74 on April 9th, 2013 1:01 pm

I think Ryan Murphy has done a spectacular job this season. I think everybody has lost perspective on what this show is about at the core. Its growing up,trying to figure out what and who u r. I think this show hits the nail on the head every week. How many teenage boys and girls think the significant other of the week is their forever, most of them do. Most kids graduate and then flounder about trying to figure out what’s next for their lives. Sam, Blaine, Finn, Rachel, ECT. They are exactly where their characters should be. And I say BRAVO to the writers and cast for ALL their amazing work . And I will continue to watch. And can’t wait for this next episode.

  30. Sylvia on April 9th, 2013 2:23 pm

I have to say I am loving the different things Glee is doing this season. I also agree with Loralee about Ryan Murphy doing a spectacular job. I also am sick of all the anti Sam comments. Chord Overstreet is doing an awesome job on the show. I love Rachel, Kurt, Santana, Blaine, and Sam. I also love what he brings to the show. There is so much hating on Glee I thought this was a place to show the love and what you wanted to know about the rest of The new episode coming up. I know we get used to certain characters but there is also a time for changes. I would love to see Rachel get back with Finn however that is still to be determined for next season. I heard Ryan Murphy did an interview for Paley fest and he said they are working out a deal for Glee to do different things with it and I think that is awesome. So quit the hating and give it a chance or just don’t comment!

    Sylvia

  31. jenny on April 9th, 2013 2:34 pm

Anything you can tease us about the scene where Blaine leaves a message for his parents? How is Darren in that scene?

  32. Talli on April 9th, 2013 2:37 pm

Not really interested in an all McKinnley episode, so I hope this is the last one we have to deal with that doesn’t have Rachel, Kurt and Santana. I am so ready for Sweet Dreams! Idina Menzel and Lea Michele singing together again! Not to mention we FINALLY get some Finn and Puck! Honestly I’m at the point of just wishing this season over. I’ll finish watching the season to see what happens with the NY SL’s and the Lima Seniors but S4 has been the WORST Glee season yet. Go back and watch S1-S3 (which I have been doing) and you really get hit with how much S4 is NOT Glee but some weird Glee Project nightmare.

  33. Chrissy N on April 9th, 2013 2:37 pm

Ok, so you all want the writers to do this, that or the other thing. Thing is – they don’t pay us for OUR opinions. If they did, WE would be writing this show, not them.

Unlike some of you, I went through HS seeing a guy dating a different girl every few months. It’s called life. If Sam and Mercedes were meant to be together, they would and will be. Right now, Mercedes is persuing her LIFE’s DREAM. So let’s say that Samcedes is a blip on the screen.

As for Brittany and Sam, I do agree that it isn’t very interesting – however, somehow it will play into something, and that’s all I hope. Sam is cute, and interesting, and a good friend to Blaine. I watch every week, and he is one reason why.

Santana is one of my FAVORITES. I really hope she either gets back together with Brit, or finds someone with just as much charisma… Brittany is so unique, that it would be hard to put her with much of anyone else.

I am kinda getting sick of the Kurt/Blaine thing, and wish they would stop pushing it. I like both those characters, but I think that Kurt needs to date this guy and Nyada and figure out where his heart lies. Blaine needs to just be Blaine, and sing, and be handsome. Sorry, I am a female… even if he’s gay.

Rachel/Finn need to get back together, but sometimes, it takes time and events to do so. I am looking forward to those two and their storylines. Again, some of my favorites… I am so glad Brody is out of the picture. He made my skin crawl.

For those of you that don’t like Tina, tough. She is awesome. She isn’t Rachael, and neither is Myley… but hell, they’re pretty good.

Do you expect a HS and New York life to be normal, boring and what YOU went through? You shouldn’t. It isn’t YOUR story, its theirs. So let them tell these stories. For every one of us complaining, there are THOUSANDS that are not. So… Yep. tough. 🙂

  34. Samantha on April 9th, 2013 2:38 pm

Some of us care about Sam and how shitty a girlfriend Brittany is to him. I’m ready for Brittany to be gone. I’m tired of her acting rudely to EVERYONE and never getting called out on it because she’s ~oh so innocent.~ And her storyline in this episode, trying to say I love you to a freaking CAT, is going to be so ridiculous. Not looking forward to that at all. I’m looking forward to the friendship moments that have been spoiled though. Glee does friendships surprisingly well for people who can’t write romantic relationships.

  35. Marisa Roffman on April 9th, 2013 2:42 pm

To those who were wondering about Blaine, it’s hard to say too much without crossing the line of blatantly spoiling things, but he has a really fantastic friendship scene with Tina near the end of the episode.

  36. Kiki on April 9th, 2013 2:43 pm

I have been loving this season of Glee. So much more depth to all characters. I like Britney & Sam together. I am glad they brought Chord back as he is the strong leader they have needed. While Ryder & Jake are strong, they are newer and will eventually take over that spot. I also love the New York crew and have loved Santana even more now that she is there! Cannot wait for this week’s episode – it has been far too long of a hiatus!!!!

  37. kate on April 9th, 2013 2:45 pm

I really loved Sam until they completely changed his character in order to force him into a relationship with Brittany. Now I’m indifferent towards him.

I’m not crazy about Brittany/Sam because they are not groundbreaking in any way. What’s another white heterosexual couple on a popular TV show? The only thing unusual about them is that they are both unusually unintelligent.

Brittany and Santana were groundbreaking. They’ve saved lives. They saved my life. It’s so disappointing to see the writers waste the opportunity to continue to really represent and underrepresented group of people in the world.

But it’s fine, I’m done with this show.

  38. Ronnie on April 9th, 2013 2:48 pm

It was recently reported that Heather Morris (Brittany) is pregnant, so whatever story lines regarding her character will be irrelevant as her character will most likely have to be written out for the first part of the next season unless they write it into the story. Glee has never been a show to follow the norm, so why should any of the relationships. They’ve all but written out Joe and Sugar’s characters as they each may have one or two lines when they are on with no story arcs for them this season and the teachers and admin are just afterthoughts regarding their stories. The show probably has one more good year and they are done. I’m just sitting back and enjoy all the musical numbers each week. it’s the best part of the show.

  39. Kirstie Bryce :) on April 9th, 2013 2:51 pm

When you said “Not everyone will be together” do you mean that people will be in different areas of the school?? Also is anyone alone when it happens?? 😀

  40. Joli on April 9th, 2013 2:52 pm

    Bring back Samuel Larsen! <3

  41. Jenna on April 9th, 2013 2:54 pm

People here are so harsh about Sam. Like what even? The review didn’t even praise Sam for people to be bothered. People say that no one cares about Sam, lbr there are still a few people who likes Sam and I’m one of them. Your fandom maybe big but you can’t act as if Glee needs to be catered to only you guys. I know they did something to piss you guys off, but taking it against to a character is just low. Do you even think we wanted Brittana to break-up or want Bram to happen? Nope we don’t. It’s glee writers who made this shit and not Sam nor Chord. Do you think we wanted Sam to be dumbed down this season so Brittany can have someone to be with? No. So please stop hating on Sam saying that he has no talent, irritating, and shit cause we, some of his fans, also get hurt about this.

Sometimes you reason out double standards, but when we see your comments it doesnt have to do with it, its just pure character bashing of the people who are being in between your ship. Did Sam broke your ship off? Did he treat Brittany wrongly? None of this happened tbh. I don’t get the hate.

if you don’t like him, fine don’t. But saying this or commenting won’t do anything to be honest. What? You guys have been trying to put down sam/bram in every write-up but what else did it do? Nothing. Made it even worse and for RM to play with ur hearts still. Even made bram stronger cause all have predicted its not gonna last long.. I have nothing against all of you, but it doesnt make anything better.

  42. Poppy on April 9th, 2013 2:56 pm

I love Sam, and though I liked Brittana at the time Santana left, Brittany moved on and Bram are cute. I don’t like how they dummed Sam down a lot more though. And I can’t stand Kurt and Rachel any more (though I never was a big fan of either). If not for Santana (and Brody’s body) I would skip through the NY scenes completely.
I feel bad for Tina because this was supposed to be her year and she may as well be wallpaper at this point.

  43. Katie on April 9th, 2013 3:07 pm

So Brittany will be the victim in a shooting at McKinley?

  44. Alli on April 9th, 2013 3:23 pm

I don’t have a particular hatred for Bram but I do think this show is tanking majorly. As soon as the big FOUR couples broke up (has everyone forgotten about Mr. Shue/Emma?) everything started going downhill. The new characters are nowhere near as compelling and it’s seeming more like another ABC Family teen girl show instead of the groundbreaking show it used to be. Plus I’m sick of all the pop music, what happened to great songs like “Don’t Stop Believing”? Why are you doing Bieber, Rebecca Black, and Nicki Minaj? Are you trying to lower your audience’s IQ levels?

Writers, producers, directors, actors, PLEASE go back and watch your first 10 episodes of Season 1 again. We want that gritty, courageous, never-quit attitude back.

  45. Kum on April 9th, 2013 3:35 pm

I don’t get it. Sam is the most likeable character ever created on Glee. There’s no reason for people to hate on him just because they’re bitter Brittana shippers.
And please bury me somewhere if I have to watch another boring and needless Samcedes storyline again. It’s Fabrevans, Bram or Kum (that’s another story) for me.

  46. Tammi on April 9th, 2013 3:45 pm

Sorry but I could care less about Bram. Why are the writers pushing them so hard? There are a million other white blonde heterosexual couples out there with more chemistry, portrayed by better actors. Both Sam and Brittany are idiots and I can’t take them seriously. Please, make it stop.

  47. Jack on April 9th, 2013 4:05 pm

I think Glee has lost what it used to have. The writers dont realise that you can not have a strong lead cast and then suddenly drop them after three years and bring in a bunch of new kids. Tina, Artie, Blaine and Brittany need to graduate and go to new york and glee needs to gradually drop Mckinley and only feature it in special episodes like at the holidays. The storyline needs to focus on the lead cast that had been there for 3 years instead of thinking the audience will be interested on a bunch of newbies.
    Rant over
ps, klaine finchel and brittana need to get back together and live together soon.

  48. JJDUX on April 9th, 2013 4:18 pm

Ryder is obsessed with an online person while there’s a shooting????? WTF right there Glee has once again sunk.
Brittnay is an adult stuck in high school with her underaged boyfriend who falls in love at the drop of a dime religiously, what a JOKE!!!Bram is forced PLEASE STOP!!!
Tina will be the ONLY inspiring part of this entire atrocity of an hour on Glee AND somehow they will mess that up too…
A serious show on a serious issue and the ONLY one out of EVERYONE on Glee is Blaine videotaping a message to his parents??? WTF!!! You dont think Santana,Rachel and Kurt wouldnt RACE home for this kind of tragedy?

Sorry cant get behind this episode but I am a neilsen participant so I will DVR this episode and watch Greys Anatomy live this thursday.

  49. 504 on April 9th, 2013 4:24 pm

”Samcedes” and ”Brittana” should’ve not been broken up in the first place for starters. Then ”RIB” and the writers give no explanation as to why you break up Sam and Mercedes. Then you come up with a weak ass story Sam has always had feelings for Brittany ”Really” since when?! Besides, the fact you got these new characters that nobody cares about and they’re wannabe originals. Sorry,Ryan you can never replace the original cast! Then the lack of storyline/plot/character development is ridiculous! Like main characters that been on ”Glee” since the beginning Mercedes,Artie,Tina,Puck,Quinn no story at all! Oh,and musically the show has down graded….Meaning the music and numbers haven’t been up to par! Then,”RIB” and the writers wonder why fanfic writers do a better job than the so called professional writers on ”Glee” now that’s saying a lot!

  50. Lottie on April 9th, 2013 4:28 pm

I’m so sick of all of this ‘Bram’ crap. No body really wants Sam and Brittany together, they want Brittana and Samcedes or Sam and Quinn: I don’t know! Sam and Britt are too much like brother and sister to be a couple, and it just doesn’t feel right. There is no real chemistry there like there is with Brittana and Samcedes. It just feels like the writers are pushing this pairing onto us even though nobody wants it. I know that, to keep the show interesting, couples need to have their ups and downs, but this Bram stuff…Nobody wants it! I just feel as if they are losing so many episodes where they could have gone deeper into Santana’s story line and focused more on Sam and his family life.

Season 4 of glee is so messed up, and it just feels as if they have gone about it all wrong. We should have had the scene where Santana comes out to her parents (I think that was very important).

The part that really gets to me is that Brittana never had the screen time for their relationship (or characters in general) like Finchel did. And same goes for the Klaine fandom. Why do the straight couples get the most screen time? It’s just giving the impression that homosexual couples are ‘second best’ (which is wrong and completely goes against everything that glee was rooting for in the first place).
I have so much more to say about Glee, and I really do love the show and all of the characters, but I don’t care for the new characters at all. We all want more of our favourite characters and not spending over half an episode on the ones we don’t care for.

  51. Brianna on April 9th, 2013 4:34 pm

Where is Joe Hart? What a let down this season has been with storylines. Give Joe Hart a storyline. Anyone can reinvent themself. So much can happen with a strong christian character. Any good writer can bring ANY character alive. Come on Glee…..what a disappointment this season has been.

  52. Junie on April 9th, 2013 4:52 pm

Wow. And I cannot stand Rachel (or Lea because that’s who the character has become). The NY part is unrealistic but at least Santana is there to make it interesting. The MHS stories are pretty weak too. I look back when they did Keep Holding On and it makes me miss it all the more. But really, there is no way for this to continue that much longer if RM has to keep negotiating. Between RM and LM’s egos, there is no room for much else. And yes, sheis a big time diva. And a horrible actress. Watch the GG post award interviews – she comes along right after Jennifer Lawrence and she comes across so fake it’s laughable.

They wrecked the whole three seasons in a few episodes. Here’s the truth, we like the problems, and how the cast overcome them. That’s the basic for a season, a problem, a mistery… This season had a lot of changes, but NO STORY AT ALL.

Anyone who watches this show WITHOUT character/ship goggles can see that this is the best season in a long time. The new characters are all very talented and are actually better equipped as actors than the great majority of the “old characters.”

All this hating on Sam/Chord is just dumb, to be honest. You don’t even have to be a stan of his to know that he’s talented. I truly believe he will be awesome in this episode because he’s never failed to impress me when it comes to drama. And Sam? Is really the most non-offensive character on the show, so yeah….

I’m excited for this episode. McKinley is great this season, but those who go into stuff determined to hate it will most likely always succeed.

I agree that I am having trouble connecting with the new cast. As far as Sam and Blaine I still like them..especially Blaine. He actually one of my favorites. While i definitly want Rachel and Finn back together instant gratification is not always the way to go. Finn just grew a set so he needs to find himself and get it all the way together before they reconnect. Of coarse I want Blaine and Kurt back together as well. I am a little dissapointed that Joe is on the back burner I like him and would love to see a storyline around him and his struggle to remain a “good” christian. Not missing Quinn and Mercedes too mych but definitly want more Puck and Santana. I will continue to watch and hope that the writers take in consideration everything they read. Also Marley in no way compares to Rachel. Knowing Cory will not be in final two episodes is a bummer too but his health and well being is much more important so well wishes for him and for Lea for standing by him.

You all realize this is a made up TV program, right? It is not real life and no one cares what you think about any of the characters because they are MADE UP!! They are not real. This will never effect your life one way or the other. Just sit back and enjoy the show for goodness sakes!

In the real world. Heather Morris (Britney) is pregnant. I feel like in some way they’ll have to incorporate that soon because Britney is very active in the episodes.

Sam gave Quinn a Promise Ring after the first Date, it looks like he forces girls into a relation ship with him, first Quinn, then Mercedes and now Brittany and with Brittany is it the worst because he called her his Soulmate what the hell how can Brittany be his Soulmate when they never talk in the last 2 Seasons.

They need to get rid of Chord Overstreet, I can’t understand why they forced him down our throat, so many people hate his Character he ruines everything because he is boring and has no talent.

The 3 main Couples Brittana, Klaine and Finchel need to go to New York and they need to get rid of Mc Kinley.

I love the character of Sam but what I don’t like is how much they have dumbed him down this season. Sam was never this dumb or clueless. I was never a big fan of Quam after Quinn cheated and I thought Samcedes was beautiful and groundbreaking and the writers could have done so much with that to the point where they could have been used for inspiration for shape size color doesn’t matter when it comes to love but they messed that up. I am to believe that Sam just magically fell out of love with Mercedes and in love with Brittany? I’m sorry I can not. If they would have had some type of build up in the past two seasons then I might’ve been somewhat of a believer but to me those have about as much chemistry as Obama and Romney. Those two never talked besides when they kissed in BIOTA. Sam was so in love with Mercedes you could see it every episode in his face last season and in Mercedes as well. This season I don’t see love anywhere on that boy’s face or Brittany’s. To me that office scene between Bram and Principal Figgins told me everything I needed to know about them. There isn’t a ounce of love in Bram and old ships aside I think everyone including Chord and Heather knows it. Hell Bartie had more chemistry and love than Bram and there were people who disliked them as well.

Wow, OK people, you want to talk about a forced relationship? SAMCEDES was forced! and utterly ridiculous, so glad that ended. I didn’t even like Brittany before season 4 and thought her a most unconvincing ‘lesbian’. but I like her now, so…Go Bram. and those of you that make ‘sibling’ comments regarding them, you do realize that if a blonde never married a blonde there’d be no more blondes, right?
As for the new guys, yes, my absolute two favourites are Kurt and Santana, but I’m not going to stick my nose up at the rest of it, and neither should you, or else we’re not going to be seeing anybody when the show gets canceled.

Wow you are all mean. I like Sam! And I love Britney! They are both amazing singers. If you don’t like glee anymore STOP WATCHING!

  63. Amanda on April 13th, 2013 1:03 pm

To the writers, I say bravo – I love the show, and have massive respect for the way the last episode was handled. I only hope there is still a future for Sue on the show, she has been awesome. I think Bram would natually gravitate towards each other, given their personalities and what they’ve been through. A little confused about how the Blaine and Tina thing is going, but it’s like watching a train wreck, can’t take my eyes off even though it’s slightly horrifying. Love that you keep teasing us with Finchel, and Klaine, when either of those get resolved eventually it will be epic. Every show has its ups and downs but Glee has endured and continues to grow, despite people’s worries when Rachel/Kurt/Finn/etc graduated. Keep it up!!
