SUPERNATURAL Season 9 Premiere Post-Mortem: Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki Tease What Comes Next

[Warning: This post contains spoilers for SUPERNATURAL’s ninth season premiere. If you haven’t watched it yet, go do that, and then come back here to see what series stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki have to say about what’s to come.]

SUPERNATURAL fans are fairly used to the Winchester brothers keeping secrets from each other, but what Dean is keeping from Sam in season 9 is a big doozy: in order to help Sam recover from the horrific injuries he sustained at the end of last season, Dean agreed to let Ezekiel, a fallen angel, inhabit his brother’s body so he could fix him from the inside. The bad news? Sam doesn’t have any idea what’s going on.

Yeah, this isn’t going to end well at all.

Last week, SUPERNATURAL stars Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam) talked with reporters on the show’s Vancouver set about how this storyline will play out, why Padalecki is excited about this turn, what this will do to Dean/Sam’s relationship, and how long this might go on for…

Plus, what will happen with Cas, and Dean’s lack of support?

So…what do you think of season 9 so far?

SUPERNATURAL airs Tuesdays at 9 PM on The CW.

It’s interesting how much of the modern horror and supernatural books are inspired by the first Dracula. The Audible audiobook version is definetely the best way to get done quickly with classics like this one. If it wasn’t for the great narration I wouldn’t have finished it, probably.
