About Last Night…THE VOICE and CASTLE

October 29, 2013 by

Another Monday where working got in the way of much television watching. But a few things to talk about…

THE VOICE: I’m honestly not sure why I feel so disengaged at this point in the show. I’m thrilled Tessanne moved on. But aside from that, no real connection to the people. I’m not sure if it’s because people feel fairly even at this point or if the editing is trying to shove so much into each episode you don’t really get to dwell on the right things. I am glad the steal function was back in play for the knockouts, but I don’t know if I would have used them on whom they went to. We’ll see how tonight’s episode goes.

CASTLE: A fun episode, but I’m most curious about how this Alexis/Castle rift will play out. Will it blow up in the next episode (which seems to be a heavy Alexis/Castle hour)? Or will it continue to simmer for a while? Both of their frustrations are justified, but personally, I would be fine with seeing less of Pi in the future.

Yeah, like I said, not much TV watched, but I’ll be catching up today. What did you think of Monday night’s television?

    Yes, I know it’s just a scripted show – – – but:
One of my granddaughters is going through something similar. My biggest beef is with the utter lack of basic manners and thoughtfulness shown by Pi, and by my granddaughter’s current live-in.
Unkempt, supercilious and permissive/slovenly lifestyles are signs of a loser and not a keeper.
There doesn’t appear to be a two way street. Alexis deserves much better.
