About Last Night…ONCE UPON A TIME and THE WALKING DEAD

Let’s talk about Sunday night TV!

[As a reminder, I’m in New York for about a week, so I’ll still be doing these ALNs, but they’ll more heavily focus on anything I have screener access to.]

ONCE UPON A TIME: Poor David. He was SO HAPPY to have a friend/purpose beyond being Snow White’s true love, but nope, he can’t have nice things. Of course Arthur is evil. Or evil adjacent.

Meanwhile, the balance of Dark Swan with Emma is interesting. She pulled a dirty move by showing her former self and trying to woo Hook, but it was freaking smart; glad the writers didn’t have him just fall into her trap. But her pair up with a non-Dark One Rumple should be fascinating.

THE WALKING DEAD: I’ve been waiting for years to have Morgan be a part of the show. So happy that time is finally here.

Aside from that, the crazy walker herd was really well done. And it was a clever technique to have the flashbacks told in black-and-white — a clear way to distinguish not only the time frame, but also a way to distinguish this episode very distinctly from the rest of the series.
