Jessica Lange Returning for AMERICAN HORROR STORY: APOCALYPSE

She’s back!

Jessica Lange is returning to the AMERICAN HORROR STORY universe for season 8’s APOCALYPSE, Sarah Paulson announced during the show’s TCA panel.

“I do have the great pleasure of letting you know she will be back,” she said. “Jessica will be back as Constance in an episode I’m going to direct.” Lange last appeared on AHS in season 4. The hour, episode 6, has yet to be filmed.

In addition to Lange’s return, based on the tease from executive producer Alexis Martin Woodall, it sounds like APOCALYPSE—a crossover between the MURDER HOUSE and COVEN seasons—will kick off with a bang. “The story begins with the end of the world…and then our world begins,” she teased.

“It’s the apocalypse in the truest sense of the word,” added Paulson.
