It was a night of darn good television, as multiple shows had their best episode of the season. Let’s talk about what went down…

THE GOLDBERGS: Man, I want more of Adam’s action figure films. Um, and Bohemian Rap City? RIDICULOUS BRILLIANCE. (Murray getting upset about the stamps was both really sweet and upsetting. He rarely cares that much!)

CHICAGO MED: Badass list of MED doc rankings throughout the episode:

1) Natalie. That c-section was BONKERS BADASS and so, so, so uncomfortable to watch. But she was so great under pressure. (Also, if you were able to watch the delivery scene without turning away, props to you. Yikes.)

2) Ava. Giving your blood and assisting on a surgical procedural at the same time?!

3) April. Running back into the poisoned hospital is a risk.

RIVERDALE: The show is at its best when it embraces its crazy and has fun with it. This flashback episode was fun! It was crazy in the best ways, and Cole Sprouse was particularly believable as a young FP.

MODERN FAMILY: Ugh, of course Haley is pregnant.

SEAL TEAM: That golf game seemed like a lot of fun. It also felt like the Hayes family handled their issues fairly easy this week. I don’t know how much we’ll see of Jason’s home life going forward—I assume more than before, but not excessively—but right now they have a good balance to be authentic to the storyline while not overtaking the show.

CHICAGO FIRE: Wow, that final scene got me emotional. I’m so glad Boden was able to help Severide by recruiting other Firehouses to come to the funeral.

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: The “I’m Still Standing” scene was adorable. I figured Rome’s illness wasn’t a suicide attempt—the show wouldn’t have made that a mystery from the audience, I suspect, because it would have amped up the drama of whether he’d be discovered—but I’m glad it was just a kidney stone.

Let’s see how long Eddie and Delilah can keep this secret…

CHICAGO P.D.: Man, this was not an easy one for Atwater and Halstead…both really need a freaking day off.
