Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

SUPERSTORE: The Cloud 9ers bashing each other, but then instantly turning on the (shady) customer who joined in was fantastic.

I really loved that Jonah and Amy were on each other’s side throughout the drama, including their adorable mini-golf game. Um, and who would have thought Sandra and Jerry would have the guts to have an affair?!

Biggest laughs of the episode, for me, came from Dina’s horrifically creepy painted on eyes and Justine vs. the raccoon.

GREY’S ANATOMY: I don’t know how much long-term potential Link and Amelia have, but they’re fun. The show is also doing a really good job at building up a potential Tom/Teddy/Owen triangle. Tom was right: Owen very recently chose Amelia, so while there is no doubt he loves Teddy in some way, it would be kind of selfish of him to be all-in on her now, and potentially jeopardize her relationship, because he has no one else.

DeLuca is exhausting right now, which really bothers me. The show has struggled with him—he’s been good in previous points, but he was almost always underutilized. Now that he has more of a central role, it feels like they’ve regressed him to a pouty teenager.

SUPERNATURAL: The case kind of lost my interest, but the Jack situation is heartbreaking. (Though, to be fair, if a knife is moving wildly out of control, maybe DON’T MOVE TOWARDS IT?) He’s so going to totally snap before the season ends.

WILL & GRACE: The problem with Will and Grace taking the step in their respective relationships to move forward is the show has proven you can’t really trust it. They seem unwilling to have things permanently shift, but that also is really sad, because the characters are just…stuck.

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT: I’m torn on my feelings about this episode. On one hand, I was kind of worried about how they would handle Nikki’s rape, especially since it was clear from the start she would be suspecting a cop. They didn’t go down a gross path, so I appreciate that. (And Callie Thorne was great.)

On the other…this was both a case of “the big name guest star did it!!” and “we’re reusing a big name actor in a new role.” It wasn’t really hidden well from the first moments of the episode (though I don’t know if they intended for it to be), and I was waiting for there to be more of a twist than, well, he’s a power-hungry jerk.

The Dodds memo also felt underwhelming? Obviously something is in there, but Liv appeared awfully calm for something so seemingly career-ending? I’m glad Fin had the chance to be clear he was on her side.
