Ty Burrell will be pulling double duty in the 2019-2020 season: in addition to the final season of MODERN FAMILY, the actor has joined the voice cast of Fox’s new series DUNCANVILLE.

Burrell will voice Jack, Duncan’s father. Per Fox, Jack is “a classic-rock-obsessed plumber who’s determined to be a better dad than the one he had. He’s constantly posting wonderful things about his family on Facebook and annoyed that his kids won’t friend him.”

The series stars Amy Poehler, who voices Duncan and Duncan’s mother Annie, who co-created the series with Mike and Julie Scully. Rashida Jones and Wiz Khalifa are signed on in recurring roles.

Per Fox, the show follows “a spectacularly average 15-year-old boy Duncan (voiced by Poehler) with a rich fantasy life, and the people in his world.” It is set to debut during the 2019-2020 season.
