A MILLION LITTLE THINGS Season 2 opening scene

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS – ABC’s “A Million Little Things” stars Lizzy Greene as Sophie Dixon, Stephanie Szostak as Delilah Dixon, James Roday as Gary Mendez, Allison Miller as Maggie Bloom, Chance Hurstfield as Danny Dixon, Christina Moses as Regina Howard, Romany Malco as Rome Howard, David Giuntoli as Eddie Saville, Grace Park as Katherine Kim, and Tristan Byon as Theo Saville. ABC has released the opening scene of A MILLION LITTLE THINGS, which picks up where season 1 left off: as Eddie (David Giuntoli) is about to tell Katherine (Grace Park) the truth about Delilah’s (Stephanie Szostak) unborn baby.

In the clip (below), Eddie does reveal the truth, but Katherine has her own bombshell—Delilah is in labor.

“My formula for Katherine is put her in an impossible situation and watch Grace’s humanity shine,” A MILLION LITTLE THINGS creator DJ Nash said after the finale aired. “That is how we leave season 1—Katherine in an impossible situation, and as we start season 2, we’ll see her humanity shine.”

Given that the scene is an immediate pickup from where they left off, the show also took the step of filming the cliffhanger’s resolution at the same time they shot the finale. “The morning we were shooting that scene, I went to [Park and Giuntoli’s] trailers and I handed them the rest of the scene,” Nash revealed. “I said, ‘I didn’t show this to anybody, nobody has seen it but you two. We’re going to shoot the whole scene today.’ And they quickly read the lines with each other, we shot it, and it was phenomenal. They’re phenomenal.”
