In a season that has already been tough for the CHICAGO P.D. detectives, but things get especially dangerous for Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) in the final episode of 2019.

“The fall finale is gonna be gonna be really crazy,” Soffer teases. “We haven’t done anything like this before.”

After the untimely death of Marcus West, a man wrongly imprisoned on Intelligence’s watch thanks to faulty software, “we’re seeing the fallout of it. Jay definitely feels responsible for that in a way and has to carry this burden now. And you’re going to see the fallout of all of that.”

The consequences are severe, as Halstead is taken—and it’s up to the team to save the day. But will it be soon enough? “Something awful happens to Jay,” Soffer says. “We don’t know if he’s gonna come back from it.”

Uh oh…
