PRODIGAL SON Books Ana Gasteyer

Fresh off her turn on THE MASKED SINGER, Ana Gasteyer is popping up on another Fox series: PRODIGAL SON.

The casting marked a quasi-reunion for Gasteyer and PRODIGAL SON co-creator Chris Fedak, who previously worked together on the NBC series CHUCK. “She was amazing in CHUCK,” Fedak notes. “When you have someone who can be in a scene with Timothy Dalton [like she was in CHUCK] and you’re focused on her, that’s amazing. So this was a great opportunity for us [to work together again].”

On PRODIGAL SON, Gasteyer’s “suspicious mortician” pops up in the 15th episode of the freshman season. “She came in and did one episode for us and was a riot,” Fedak says. “She’s also great and scary.”
