How do you say goodbye to something that has been a big part of your life for five years? That’s the question all longtime viewers of NBC’s CHUCK are asking themselves right now.

How can a mere television show mean so much to a group of people? Notice I didn’t use the word fans? If you’ve been with the show since the night of September 24, 2007 when CHUCK first aired, then you’re more than a fan; you’re part of the family. That’s what we’ve become — strangers with a common devotion that have melded into a family, a support system, a group of modern day Literati.

THE MISSION – Sarah (newly intersected) and Casey set out to rescue Chuck from a bullet train in Japan. He’s being held by Nicholas Quinn, one of the most nefarious villains to appear on the show ever! He’s really, really bad! As bad as Shaw!

Using the intersect implanted in Sarah, the team seems to have captured Quinn but all manner of things go awry. Meanwhile, Morgan, Alex, Devon and Ellie are working feverishly back in Castle to find a way to suppress Sarah’s intersect before it can damage her brain irreversibly. Quinn’s minions capture Alex and hold her as a hostage.

Chuck creates a new acronym to add to the series collection along with T.I.T.S and P.A.N.T.S – Clandestine Agents Relating Emotionally; C.A.R.E. So very Chuck.

THE MISSION – As the episode opens, we find Chuck and Sarah visiting Casey in prison. They want to break him out, but Casey declines their offer. At the next table, Jeff and Morgan try to convince Lester to promise he will never poison Jeff again. Like Casey, Lester declines, preferring to remain in prison. Shortly afterward Casey is rescued from an ambush by Gertrude Verbanski and then avails himself of the right to a conjugal visit. Afterwards, he convinces Verbanski to keep Chuck out of trouble by joining the team in his absence.

THE MISSION– Carmicheal Industries has no paying client (yet again!).  After their big score with the U.S. Government they find they must protect one of their own.  Clyde Decker, the C.I.A.’s agent you love to hate, has posted a kill order on Morgan Grimes.  With the help of General Beckman and a pair of slick new shades, Morgan is de-intersected.  The hit is called off, with the exception of “The Viper,” an assassin that goes dark and is unreachable whom Decker says he may have used on purpose.  Chuck plans to lure “The Viper” out of hiding by pretending to be Morgan at the Buy More sales convention.
