Fall TV Prep: Previously on GOSSIP GIRL…

In preparation for tonight’s Season 2 premiere of GOSSIP GIRL I thought it would be nice to take a little stroll down through the Upper East Side and down Memory Lane.  A lot can happen in a year. So much so that a girl can hardly keep track…but she did.  Yes, Gossip Girl kept us all informed of the going ons of the teen-elite. Broken hearts, broken dreams, and more than a few broken laws - all in a days work with these kids. Thank God Gossip Girl was there to capture it all.

For those of you who missed out on GOSSIP GIRL last season, here’s your chance to play a little catch up before tonight’s season premiere.  You know you want to know just what everyone is talking about.  Don’t be shy…we won’t judge - hell we’re hooked!

Summertime and the Living is Easy….
When we last saw our favorite Upper East Siders, they were headed off to enjoy a little summer R&R after what was certainly a dramatic year.  Just when we thought true love was on the horizon, Chuck Bass pulled a…well… Chuck Bass and left poor Blair Waldorf stranded on the tarmac awaiting her flight for Europe. What was our poor jilted Blair to do?  Hitch a ride abroad with another hot little rich boy, of course.  Dan and Serena parted ways after they realized that a relationship without trust isn’t much of a relationship at all.  Serena was off to the Hamptons leaving Dan behind in Brooklyn to med his broken heart.  Little Jenny Humphrey saw the error of her ways and opted out of the cool crowd, but not before leaving some damage in her wake. The wannabe fashion designer snagged an internship with Blair’s mother’s design company - after just her Freshman year no less.  Lily married Bart which left Rufus free to go on his one hit wonder tour.  Nate opted to join Serena in the Hamptons and we were all left wondering if these two ex-lovers would reunite in the hot summer heat.All caught up?  Good because the fun begins again tonight.
