No doubt that was a cool moment. I like that they didn’t overplay it either - it could have been done any time during the run of the show, but they didn’t make a big deal of it and let it happen almost naturally.
New Kids re-uniting, A Doogie reference and plaid shorts are cool again… the world truly does run in a circle.
Next time they’ll have to get Ted to climb through his window suited up.
That clip finally made it to YouTube. I was looking for it last week. I got so excited when the Doogie music started. I cracked up when he paused for a little reflection. All that was missing was Vinnie crawling through the window.
That was my favorite moment from last week. As soon as I heard the music I started laughing. I’m so glad you posted that, it was legen-wait for it-dary!
Doogie was one of my first crushes…seeing him in Harold & Kumar, then on HIMYM has been…wait for it…awesome. I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard over the entire tv season this year as I did as soon as the Doogie music came on a the end of the show.
And the way he looked up and paused while typing…beautiful. JRAM is right…Ted must come through the window suited up the next time they do this!!!!!! The Doogie music and this same video are both on my myspace…awesome!

This was funny during the show…but even funnier to watch as a clip on its own! Loved the “I’m awesome”…and the music brought me right back to 1991.

Hands down the funniest moment of HIMYM. & to think that Robin Sparkles was my fave moment up to this point. Doogie blew that out of the water.
