JERICHO Fans Support the WGA

November 28, 2007 by

No new news as of yet on the WGA strike talks. There’s a media blackout but I keep checking DeadlineHollywood.com about every ten minutes or so, so if there is any news I’ll be sure to let you all know.

In the meantime, kudos to JERICHO fans for putting together this brilliant and very professional video in support of the WGA. Impressive.

Keep reading UnitedHollywood.com for more information on how to support the WGA.

Question for other Jericho fans: who does he kiss in third picture? Is that Maggie? I wish it was a shot of Jake & Heather from Season 2….

Nevermind, I just figured out the third picture isn’t Jake. Sigh. At least Jericho is coming back.

Heh, that was great! I’ve had the tune stuck in my head since yesterday. Speaking of Jericho… any idea when it WILL be back?

I did this video. Thanks for posting it!

As for who’s in it… That i Jake, Jake in a towel, Jake kissing Heather (Skeet Ulrich, Sprague Grayden), Jake dancing with Emily (SU and Ashley Scott), Stanley and Mimi (Brad Byers and Alicia Copola), and Hawkins (Lennie James).

I wish I could do more. I’d walk the line if I could, but I’m in Ohio. This was my way of expressing how we Jericho fans feel about the writers and the strike.

I love this video almost as much as I love Jericho. Thanks, Rubberpoultry for letting the writers know how much we appreciate them.

Without writers where would television be? Jericho writers are the best. We support them 100%. Hold out until you get what you deserve. Great video Rubberpoultry.

I fully support the writers. Especially Jericho writers. They do a fantastic job as does RubberPoultry.

Without the writers there would not be any real television programs. I, of course, believe the Jericho writers do a wonderful job, but all writers deserve more money for the dvds and money for streaming their shows on the internet. I definitely support the writers!

Great writers (such as the writers for Jericho) deserve all the support that they can get while trying to get full and fair pay for their quality work product. RP this is a great video and I agree with Kristi, the tune is addictive.

We love our “Jericho” writers! They’ve given us some of the best TV in years!

Hey CBS, and all other networks who really care about quality TV, what can you give us without writters, more dancing and singing shows, more mindless TV? I would rather watch the old test screne, you remember them colored bars, than watch your unreality TV shows. Give the writters their due, without them, you have nothing but crap. We do not even need to turn on the tube for that.

Rubberpoultry you never cease to amaze me. Yet another great video in support of the writers strike. I do hope the networks listen to what these people are asking for which isn’t much at all. Remember without them we have no Jericho and I don’t think I want some strangers coming in and trying to fill our writers shoes. For quality shows we need to help get these writers back to work.

I too support the writers. The Jericho writers are simply the BEST! We would not have such a wonderful Jericho community without them. If anyone would have told me over a year ago that I would be posting now I would have told them they were nuts. Stand firm writers! Know that we will wait for quality programs once you have your fair share of the money. P.S. RP, I loved this video and the music.

Jericho is a great show because of its awesome writers. Rubberpoultry, thanks for another great video.

I am in support of the writers and what they deserve. They are an awesome group of people who derserve to have the pay that is warrated. I hope that when they do come back, they are much more appreciated than they were before the strike. Good people are hard to come by and so give them what they want. You all rock!!

The last WGA strike gave us more reality TV and lots of cancelled shows.

They won’t stop striking until we have nothing left BUT reality TV.

The tiny, tiny amount of money (in the grand scheme) from advertising on streaming sites (NBC/FOX/CBS) don’t do much of anything but cover the massive streaming costs and upkeep. I’m all for royalties, but the WGA is putting the cart so far in front of the horse that it can no longer be seen.
