Best. News. Ever!! Rainn Wilson will be hosting Saturday Night Live on February 24, 2007. No musical guest has been listed yet, so they are still trying to book someone or like Justin Timberlake, Rainn is the host AND musical guest. Maybe he could bust out his recorder. I’ll be busting out the DVR for this episode.

i think i may have to watch SNL for the first time in about 6 years just because Rainn is hosting… Maybe even have a little party for it…

This is great! Do you think they will have a skit that pokes fun of The Office? I remember when Jennifer Aniston was on once, they made fun of Friends and when James van der Beek was on they made fun of Dawsons Creek. That would be funny if they had a skit poking fun at JAM and Dwangela.

HA HA HA HA!!! Oh man, the image of Rainn playing his recorder as the musical guest on SNL just made me laugh out loud for a solid 30 seconds. That would be pure gold. Regardless of who the REAL musical guest is, I am SO excited that Rainn will be hosting SNL…this is awesome news. Now all we need is Steve, John, Jenna, and BJ to host sometime in the near future. Wishful thinking? I hope not.

While this is super exciting news, a part of my mind just thinks how much funnier it would be with the tag team of Rainn and JKras. For some reason, those 2 always seem funnier when together than when apart. And, even though SNL is better this year, it still could use an extra dose of funny.
