I’m emotionally and physically exhausted after watching tonight’s final performance round on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. I can’t even begin to imagine how the final four dancers are feeling right now. Tonight was the last opportunity for Sabra, Danny, Lacey and Neil to show us what they’ve got before we the audience cast our votes for America’s Favorite Dancer. All four dancers were impressive as usual but there were certainly a few stand out moments for me.
So just what were those “special” moments? Well, you are going to have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out because I am so tired that I can hardly put together a sentence none the less recap an amazing night of dance. Believe me, I hate to put it off until tomorrow but I just can’t do the show justice tonight.
But just because I’m tired and need to go to bed doesn’t mean that you can’t talk about tonight’s show. What were your favorite performances? Do you think we have a clear winner at this point in time? I’m so excited to hear your opinions!

goodness… i have to say my clear favorite is danny! everything he does is so perfectly executed & he exhibits such grace and ease in his movement. and damn, the way he keeps his center in the turns… wow… so much better than neil who is always falling out of them. danny’s solo just blew me away tonight - i watched it about 5 times (thank you tivo!) i voted for him all night!

Danny and Sabra were my favorites tonight. Even though I LOVE LOVE LOVE Neil, he didn’t pull off the hip hop and the lindy hop was pretty sloppy (what’s up with them deciding to do that dance in the finale? what was nigel thinking?)… Lacey and Sabra’s dance was pretty, but it wasn’t mind blowing and it didn’t show off their talents. Overall, I think Danny had the best night, but I really do love them all… If I had to rank them 1&2) Danny/Sabra, 3) Neil, 4) Lacey…
This year, I’m actually going to be happy for any of the 4, they deserve it!
Wow, consider me unimpressed on all accounts. The only number I liked was the Mia contemporary with Neil and Danny. The girls fell completely flat for me. Danny probably had the best night and then I’d say Neil only because I loved his piece with Danny so much. Then I’d say Sabra. And Lacey…she did not bring it tonight. I was wishing other girls would’ve been out there dancing instead.

Last week was so good, I sort of wish it had ended there. Not that I didn’t enjoy last night but nothing was mind blowing… except perhaps for Danny’s solo. Was that 5 or 6 grand jete in a row? Wow, just wow. I have some mobility problems and for some reason watching how lightly he moves across the stage lifts my spirits. I got teary. He probably should win it all and as Mia put it, he will be one that goes down in the books whether he wins or not.
Having gushed on Danny I’ve been team Sabra all the way and stuck to it (I did phone in one vote for Danny just because he so deserves it) but at this point will be happy if anyone but Lacey wins - ABL - anybody but Lacey. I’ve said it before, her constant booty popping and mugging for the camera gets on my last nerve.

I have been Team Sabra since the beginning and I still love her - I hope she wins. But I loved Neil for some reason last night! WTF? Even the Lindy Hop with sucky Lacey, I thought he looked great. I loved his solo, I love love loved the Mia dance with Danny. I thought Sabra did well too. That stupid Wade dance was worthless and weird. Whatever. I think it should be Sabra, Danny, Neil and Lacey.
I might be in the minority of those that thought Wade’s “fox” routine was breathtaking. I love when dancers bring elements of the natural world into their choreography. For me, this was the most emotional performance of the night. I also loved Mia’s “two kings” routine because I love anything Mia does
That Shane Sparks hip hop routine was awful. I don’t think it was Shane’s fault though, American “hip-hop” dancers don’t seem to be able to pick up on reggae-”wine” infused dancing. He should have told them to watch a Sean Paul video first!
I was a little disappointed in Sabra last night, but I still think she should win. Danny was the only one who danced like he wanted to win it.
Danny, Danny, Danny. Then Neil, Sabra’s good, but Lacey should not be there. Anya was much better. The number with Danny and Neil was incredible. I don’t think I could pick which I liked better, the Neil Jazz number with I think it was Lauren, or this number.
Last week, I had wished they wouldn’t have had to get rid of a guy and a girl. Just the 4 highest vote getters and we could have had exactly what they did, guys dancing together and girls dancing together if need be. Maybe we could have seen some awesome guy/guy dances between Danny, Neil, and Pasha.
I suck so bad for not writing my recap yet. My day has been a bit crazed.
I have to agree with a couple others of you. Last nights finale fell short of even being called okay. Last weeks performances were better suited for the finale in my opinion. The whole time I’ve wanted Lacey to win but I seriously can’t choose now. I agree with what Nigel said last evening as a point for the show, I think I girl should win where as a boy has won both season 1/2. I can’t wait to see who America picks as their favorite dancer.
What’s the best dance of S3? I loved the Sabra/Neil Sweet Dreams last week. Nothing will ever top the Travis/Heidi bench dance from Mia last year. I kept waiting this year but nothing did it for me.
I missed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sad that I didn’t get to see the final performance….does anyone know if there is a video out there of the last 4 performing on Wed?

I think the “fox” routine was amazing and I’m so sad I’m alone in that. I’m also alone in not being a huge fan of the Danny/Neil routine. I am so glad Sabra won. Thank god it wasn’t Lacey. too bad it wasn’t Danny. I love Neil the most, but I think Danny deserved it more. But Sabra obviously is an amazing dancer too so I’m not too disappointed.
OMG IM SOOOOOO MAD THAT SABRA WON!!!!! I SOOO WANGTED LACEY TO WIN AND I VOTED FOR HER FOR AND HOUR AD 40 MINUTES AND SHE COMES IN 4TH!!!!! THEN NEIL COMES IN 3RD?! WUTS UP W/ THAT? HE WAS SUPPOSED TO WIN IF LACEY DIDNT. DANNY SHOULD HAVE COME IN FOURTH THEN SABRA IN 4TH THEN NEIL IN 2ND ADN LACEY IN 1ST!!!! JUST LIEK HER BROTHER! I MENA HEIDI CAME IN 4TH TO(HER CUZ) SO ITS NOT BAD BUT IM SOOOO MAD!!!!
