BROOKLYN NINE-NINE: Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatriz, and Dan Goor on the Move to Sundays

After spending its first season airing on Tuesdays (minus the one-time, post-post-Super Bowl slot), BROOKLYN NINE-NINE will be heading to Sundays this fall. And while some people might be nervous about changing nights, the cast and creative team are actually really excited about the move…and they’re especially thrilled about being paired with THE SIMPSONS.

Fox Picks Up BROOKLYN NINE-NINE For a Full First Season, Sets a Special Post-Super Bowl Airing After NEW GIRL

Here’s some good news even The Vulture can’t steal from the BROOKLYN NINE-NINE gang: Fox has officially picked up the show for a full first season.

“It’s exciting to see that both critics and fans love BROOKLYN NINE-NINE as much as we do,” said Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company in a statement. “With Andy [Samberg] and Andre [Braugher] out in front of this incredible ensemble, it feels like this show is going to be around for a long time.”

Additionally, Fox also announced that BROOKLYN NINE-NINE has been slotted to air on the night of the Super Bowl after NEW GIRL’s post-Super Bowl episode.

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE Parodies THE VOICE, CATFISH, and Introduces SOPRANOS HIGH

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE sure had a lot of television-inspired parodies during Adam Levine’s episode.

While paying homage to Levine’s show, THE VOICE, was a no-brainer (though the cameos from Andy Samberg, Jerry Seinfeld, and Cameron Diaz were a nice twist), SNL also poked fun at CATFISH, and thanks to THE CARRIE DIARIES, they gave us a high school-set prequel to THE SOPRANOS dubbed SOPRANOS HIGH.

SNL Digital Short: The Lonely Island, Adam Levine, and Kendrick Lamar Team Up For ‘YOLO’

Since Andy Samberg’s SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE departure, we’ve had a SNL digital short drought. But thanks to his little cameo in last night’s episode, we also got a brand new Lonely Island song to sing (featuring SNL host Adam Levine and musical guest Kendrick Lamar).
