THE SIMPSONS has taken on LEGOs, a record-breaking marathon, and so much more this year. But if you’re a Los Angeles-based fan of the long-running animated series, something arguably even cooler is happening this weekend: THE SIMPSONS will be taking over the Hollywood Bowl.
For three nights only, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra — as well as special guests including event host/SIMPSONS star Hank Azaria, SIMPSONS creator Matt Groening, SIMPSONS stars Yeardley Smith and Nancy Cartwright, plus Conan O’Brien, Beverly D’Angelo, Jon Lovitz, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, Vaud and the Villains, and Kipp Lennon — will accompany classic SIMPSONS scenes shown on a big screen. (And there are tickets still available.) It’s going to be pretty incredible.
I spoke with Smith about the fantastic event, and she teased what she’ll be singing — and then demonstrated a bit of the song in question. Check out the video!
