We’re just one day away from SUPERNATURAL’s 200th episode, and the hour — which SUPERNATURAL showrunner Jeremy Carver called “a love letter to the fans” — is one of the most meta-filled installments of the series.

I spoke with SUPERNATURAL stars Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam), as well as executive producers Carver, Robert Singer, and Adam Glass about what’s in store in “Fan Fiction”…

Over 199 episodes, SUPERNATURAL has introduced monsters, demons, angels, and so many things that go bump in the night. But, of course, some stand out a little bit more than others.

At the (first) celebration of SUPERNATURAL’s 200th episode, I asked star Jared Padalecki (Sam), and executive producers Jeremy Carver, Robert Singer, and Adam Glass which creatures were their favorites…

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Jeremy Carver Offers a Little ‘Soul Survivor’ Tease

Tonight’s brand new episode of SUPERNATURAL, “Soul Survivor,” is a big one for the Winchester brothers as Sam tries to save an unwilling Dean…but things don’t quite go as planned.

SUPERNATURAL showrunner Jeremy Carver shared a little tease about what’s in store…

SUPERNATURAL: Jeremy Carver on Sam and Dean in Season 10, the State of Heaven, and More

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Jeremy Carver on Sam and Dean in Season 10, the State of Heaven, and More

When SUPERNATURAL season 10 kicks off, the Winchester brothers will have taken a step away from the peace they found (temporarily) at the end of season 9: with Dean originally presumed dead (but really now Demon Dean), the brothers’ eventual reunion won’t be a particularly heartwarming experience. (In fact, in the one scene that was shown of season 10 during Comic-Con, the brothers were actively trying to physically attack each other.)

After the Comic-Con panel, SUPERNATURAL showrunner Jeremy Carver talked with reporters about the brothers’ relationship, the state of heaven in season 10, and more…

SUPERNATURAL is no stranger to putting the Winchester brothers in pretty terrible positions to close out the season, and the end of season 9 was no different: Dean, after his apparent death, woke up as a demon.

I sat down with SUPERNATURAL boss Jeremy Carver to talk about the ramifications of Dean’s transformation, the theme of the season, and more…

The Winchester brothers have had a rough go of it lately, as the duo are working together despite a whole lot of tension…and in tonight’s brand new episode of SUPERNATURAL, Crowley is back in the mix.

To get a little bit of information about what kind of drama that return will bring, I spoke with SUPERNATURAL boss Jeremy Carver about Sam and Dean’s ruptured bond, Castiel’s new followers, the Mark of Cain, and more…

SUPERNATURAL: Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer Offer a Few Season 9 Teases

October 8, 2013 by

SUPERNATURAL kicks off its ninth season tonight, and while the hour is very good, there’s also virtually nothing that can be said pre-air that wouldn’t massively spoil what goes down.

And while the SUPERNATURAL cast and executive producers were very good at teasing what’s to come this season while they made the Comic-Con rounds, I had a few additional questions for executive producers Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer about what was going down…

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Jeremy Carver Teases Returning Guest Stars

Over its eight seasons on the air, SUPERNATURAL has collected quite the roster of guest stars. And sure, they’ve killed off a good number of characters, but death is rarely a massive deterrent on this show.

Case in point? Jim Beaver’s Bobby Singer is set to make another return to SUPERNATURAL, despite being killed off in season 7.

And who else might be coming back? At Comic-Con, SUPERNATURAL showrunner Jeremy Carver shared a little intel about which fan faves might be popping up again…

SUPERNATURAL: Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer Tease the Upcoming Potential Spinoff

July 30, 2013 by

Fresh off THE ORIGINALS — THE VAMPIRE DIARIES spinoff — making it to the fall CW schedule, another popular show is getting the spinoff treatment this upcoming season: SUPERNATURAL.

“They came to us; I think [The CW] wanted to do a spinoff,” SUPERNATURAL executive producer Robert Singer told me of the upcoming backdoor pilot, which is currently scheduled to be the 20th episode of the season (and he’s scheduled to direct). “I think what we pitched them, which they seem very excited about, is probably not what they expected.”

Which means if you were hoping one of the characters you already know and love from SUPERNATURAL was about to get a show dedicated to them — like Klaus and the Originals family did with THE ORIGINALS — you may be a tiny bit disappointed.
