THE BIG BANG THEORY’s Kunal Nayyar will guest star on an upcoming episode of THE MINDY PROJECT, a rep for the show has confirmed.

Nayyar will play Sendhil, whom TVInsider says is a “charming hedge fund manager that Mindy’s parents (Ajay Mehta and Sakina Jaffrey) are considering for an arranged marriage to their daughter.” Naturally, Danny is so not OK with that. (TVInsider was first to report the casting.)

THE MINDY PROJECT’s fourth season will air exclusively on Hulu.

THE BIG BANG THEORY has had no shortage of big name guest stars, and tonight’s episode features yet another familiar face: James Earl Jones!

“The guys are trying to get into Comic-Con, and they can’t get tickets, so Sheldon decides to start his own Comic-Con,” Kunal Nayyar told reporters at the WBTV comedy night screening for his show. “And he really wants to get James Earl Jones as a panelist. You can imagine what that interaction is like.”
