Shane West on His New Show, SALEM, Being ‘Easily the Best Script I Read’ and NIKITA’s Happy Ending

Right now, the cast of WGN America’s first original scripted series, SALEM, is hard at work filming the show’s freshman season. And while the show doesn’t launch for another two months, in the time leading up to its April 20th series premiere, I’ll have some interviews with the show’s creative forces going up to tease what you can expect from the series.

Up next? SALEM star Shane West (John), who went basically right from NIKITA’s final season to this new role.

Series Finale: Frustrated that MDK is still active, Nikita (Maggie Q) decides to end it her way. Leaving Michael (Shane West) and the team behind, Nikita takes Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) on the road to exact revenge. Nikita and Alex capture Jones (guest star David S. Lee) and force him to reveal the names of the rest of the members of MDK. Armed with the information, Nikita goes down a dark path that may ultimately cost her her soul. Michael tracks her down and must get her to surrender before the military opens fire and kills her. However, Nikita isn’t one to give up on a fight, leading her to make a shocking decision.

NIKITA To Kick Off Final Season on November 22

NIKITA’s final six episodes finally have an air date: The CW has announced the fourth and final season will begin on November 22nd at 9 PM. The season will run for six weeks straight.

The CW Moves NIKITA an Hour Earlier

NIKITA is on the move.

The CW sent out a revised Friday night schedule stating the underrated drama would return to its 8 PM slot starting on November 30th (a move from the 9 PM spot it is currently inhabiting), and a rep for the show confirms that’s a permanent change.
