RAISED BY WOLVES, a new sci-fi series executive produced by Ridley Scott, will debut on HBO Max on Thursday, September 3, the streaming platform announced.

According to HBO Max, the series “centers on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.”

RAISED BY WOLVES stars Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Jordan Loughran, Matias Varela, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Aasiya Shah, Ivy Wong, and Travis Fimmel. The series was created by Aaron Guzikowski; Scott directed the first two hours. David W. Zucker, Jordan Sheehan, Adam Kolbrenner, and Mark Huffam also serve as executive producers.

TNT has ordered sci-fi drama RAISED BY WOLVES straight to series, the network announced.

The series, from Aaron Guzikowski and Ridley Scott (the latter of whom will make his television directorial debut with the show), follows “two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet.
