ABC’s description: “This ensemble comedy follows a group of single parents as they lean on each other to help raise their 7-year-old kids and maintain some kind of personal lives outside of parenthood. The series begins when the group meets Will, a 30-something guy who’s been so focused on raising his daughter that he’s lost sight of who he is as a man. When the other single parents see just how far down the rabbit hole of PTA, parenting and princesses Will has gone, they band together to get him out in the dating world and make him realize that being a great parent doesn’t mean sacrificing everything about your own identity.”

SINGLE PARENTS, co-created by J.J. Philbin and NEW GIRL‘s Liz Meriwether, is the latest family comedy to join the ABC Wednesday night lineup.
The series—starring Taran Killam, Leighton Meester, Kimrie Lewis, Jake Choi, Marlow Barkley, Tyler Wladis, Devin Trey Campbell, Grace Hazelett, Sadie Hazelett, and Brad Garrett—follows, as the title suggests, single parents as they raise their kids.

ABC has released its 2018-2019 lineup, and the network is sticking with what has worked, plus expanding a few of its successes.
DANCING WITH THE STARS will air its mothership series on Monday, with a JUNIORS edition on Sunday. ABC is going back to comedy on Fridays, with SPEECHLESS and FRESH OFF THE BOAT making the move to lead off the night.
