THE FOLLOWING revealed that Natalie Zea’s Claire was actually alive and well in the last episode of the show, but while the series may be dealing with that in Monday’s episode, the photos for “Teacher’s Pet” don’t reveal any hints about what it could involve.

Check out some pictures from the episode!

THE FOLLOWING’s Mike snapped in the last episode, but beating up Luke won’t be the lowest point Mike reaches this season: “Oh my God, things get dramatically worse,” Shawn Ashmore (Mike) laughed.

“I think Mike had the violent outburst, but he knows at the end of the day what he did was wrong,” Ashmore acknowledged. “It was a release of a lot of pain, and a lot of built up trauma from the past season or two.”

THE FOLLOWING: 9 Teases for ‘Sacrifice’

THE FOLLOWING: LOGO

THE FOLLOWING has been going through a lot of material in a short amount of time, so it’s a little crazy to realize that Monday’s episode, “Sacrifice,” is essentially the halfway point of the show’s sophomore season. (It’s the seventh episode of the 15 ordered.)

And, as expected with a title like “Sacrifice,” the episode is a emotional roller coaster, with many of the characters out of their comfort zone, and several being in severe danger…or finding the people they care about most at risk. There’s a lot at stake in this hour, for sure.

While there is a ton that can’t be spoken about now (check back with Give Me My Remote after the episode airs for some post-episode content), how about a few teases about what you can expect from the hour?

With that lovely thought in mind, check out some photos from the hour, which includes guest stars Jake Weber and Lee Tergeson…

So far in THE FOLLOWING’s sophomore season, the significant contact between the bad guys and the good guys has been limited (aside from Lily’s manipulation). But based on the photos from the February 24th episode, “Fly Away,” that’s about to change.

Check out some pictures from the hour…

THE FOLLOWING’s Connie Nielsen can keep one heck of a secret.

Fresh off the twist that her character, Lily, isn’t quite as innocent as she might appear — and has some jaw-dropping family ties — I hopped on the phone with Nielsen to see what she could share about Lily and her new-found relationships, having to keep all these secrets, the twists viewers won’t see coming, Nielsen’s real-life passion charity, and more…

Emma, one of THE FOLLOWING’s fiercest characters in season 1, has undergone a massive transition this year as she struggles to find her way in a world without Joe.

Of course, as the audience knows — and Emma just found out — Joe isn’t really dead.

I spoke with THE FOLLOWING Valorie Curry (Emma) about what that eventual reunion might be like, having a fairly new cast for season, Emma’s drastic new look, and more…

THE FOLLOWING is no stranger to introducing new bad guys (especially given how many characters get killed off), but viewers saw double during last week’s season premiere when it was revealed that Sam Underwood was playing twin serial killers, Luke and Mark.

I sat down with Sam Underwood (Luke/Mark) to talk about joining the series, his crazy first day, getting to learn more about Mark and Luke, what’s to come, and more…

THE FOLLOWING’s Joe Carroll lives!

James Purefoy’s (Joe) return to the Fox series was hardly a surprise — after all, Purefoy “crashed” the Comic-Con panel last summer to confirm his return — but viewers got their first glimpse of a not-dead (but very bearded) Joe in the final moments of last week’s season premiere.

To get a bit of insight into what Joe has planned next, I spoke with Purefoy about his alter ego…

Comments Off on THE FOLLOWING: James Purefoy Teases Joe’s ‘Quite Simple’ Super-Objective

On television shows, it’s not uncommon at all for actors to learn about their arc as each new script comes in, but that isn’t the case for THE FOLLOWING’s James Purefoy (Joe) — he knows what his character’s ultimate goal is.

“I know what [Joe’s] super-objective is,” he told me. “I know what I want out of the whole thing.”

But just because he was clued in early on about what Joe’s ultimate goal was, that doesn’t mean the rest of his cast was as lucky.
