WESTWORLD’s second season has kept fans guessing, but the mysteries aren’t contained solely on-screen. (Or even the Easter egg-littered websites.) In fact, one of the most amusing things off-screen aspects of the show’s second season has been the increasingly vague episode descriptions.

Freeze all motor functions…and focus your attention on the WESTWORLD season 2 trailer.

The sophomore season of the HBO drama—which uses a haunting cover of Nirvana’s Heart-Shaped Box” by series composer Ramin Djawadi—takes place in the aftermath of the hosts’ uprising. In the extended trailer below, we see a bit more of what that freedom looks like (a war is brewing), how Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Maeve (Thandie Newton) are adjusting…and a bit more of Shogun World.

WESTWORLD: Check Out 11 Images From Season 2!

The first images from HBO’s WESTWORLD season 2 are…deceptively calm.

Given the mayhem the first season finale unleashed—the hosts took control over the Westworld section of the park, and Maeve (Thandie Newton) made the first real choice of her existence—the first official photos released show little of the real fallout. But in true WESTWORLD fashion, the photos are gorgeous and there’s enough ambiguity to fuel some speculation. (Currently obsessing about what could be occurring in this shot.)
