Hands down the best audition of last night’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was from a very familiar face…even if we didn’t recognize him at the time. Travis Wall, a S2 contestant and now a SYTYCD choreographer, had a little fun with the judges when he decided to go incognito and audition in Milwaukee. Yes, that’s Travis under all that wig and makeup.
It may have all been in good fun, but damn…that kid can dance.
You know what big fans of Travis Wall we are here at GMMR so this was a special treat for us. And for those of you who want to know what Travis looks like when he’s not in drag, here’s the two of us a few weeks ago in NYC.

OMG! He is amazing, even in drag. And I envy those legs of his (that sounds very strange…). When did the judges figure out who it was? I tried to listen closely, but couldn’t tell when they realized it.

Travis/Danielle, was over-the-top fabulous, but as for the best performance choreographically — he tied with the gorgeous, but emotionally detached Raymond Love.

Ryan Seacrest? Besides being the host of American Idol, he also hosts a syndicated radio program and is an award-winning television producer.
I guess Nigel threw him into the mix because of the persistent rumors that Seacrest is gay and apparently in his (Nigel’s) air-tight brain, any man who dances in drag must be the same.
Travis didn’t seem to appreciate this mindless comment.

I LOVE IT! Thank you for posting it here, I missed it the other night when one of the kids called me away from the non-DVR TV…LOL
He is AMAZING! GAW! He reminds me of my MUCH younger brother (Me 30ish; Bro 17) so it tickles me to watch him perform
