Who brought the sexy back in 2007? TV Guide has just released it’s list of the sexiest stars on TV. Let’s look a look at their list and then talk about the true sex-a-licious people that were overlooked, shall we?

I have to give credit to TV Guide. They put together a pretty good list. I was pleasantly surprised to see hotties such as Dave Annable, Rashida Jones, Taylor Kitsch, and Sendhil Ramamurthy make the cut.
I personally would have bumped a few off the list. Not to say they aren’t hot, but they just don’t do it for me. So in my world I’d say buh bye to Marg Helgenberg, Rebecca Romijn, Eva Longoria (she is so 2006), James Tupper, and Skeet Ulrich (he was cute in “Scream” but that was a long time ago).
Despite all the sexiness on this list, a few hottie McTotties were overlooked. Here’s a few I would add to my list. What about you?
Wentworth Miller, Michael Scofield on “Prison Break”
I always thought Wentworth was universally hot (as in it’s a generally accepted that no matter what your taste, the boy is fine…no?). Everytime I look in his eyes I hear Debbie Gibson playing in the background. Really Wenty, “I get weak…in a glance”
Jamie Bamber, Lee “Apollo” Adama on “Battlestar Galactica”
Have you seen this boy in a towel? ‘Nuff said. If you are looking for pure sexiness, then you have to be watchring BSG. They aren’t fools over there. They frequently have their hottest guys (and there are a few of them) glistening with sweat. They aim to please. They succeed.
Jonathan Tucker, Tommy Donnelly on “The Black Donnellys”
If you’ve seen the ep where this boy is hosing down in just hit tightie whities then you know what I’m talking about. If you haven’t, I suggest you go to NBC.com right now and check it out (you won’t be disappointed). You all know me…I’m partial to my Boston boys. (oh and Jonathan, if you are home and run into a girl named Julie…RUN – she may attack you)
Becki Newton, Amanda on “Ugly Betty”
Not sure how her co-star Rebecca Romijn made the cut and the hottest chick on the show, Becki Newton, didn’t. Poor Amanda – always getting passed over. I’m not sure anyone else on TV can pull of “The Amanda”. Becki deserves a special Emmy just for wearing that dress because that was brave.
Adrianne Palicki, Tyra Collette on “Friday Night Lights”
This girl is a sex kitten. She’s pretty damn fierce and I really don’t know how she didn’t make the list. I also don’t know how she remains single at Dillion High. No, repeat, No girls looked like that where I went to school. For those of you who would like to see a little more of Adrianne, expect to see her on the cover of Maxim soon. I’m not saying they’ve booked her for the cover, but they will…oh they wll.
Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars on “Veronica Mars”
Now I know that Kristen is cute and adorable, but I think she’s equally sexy and should have made her way to the list. Once again Kristen Bell gets overlooked. One day she’s going to show you all. For those of you questioning Kristen’s sex appeal, then you obviously haven’t seen her scorching hot spread in Maxim or Shape magazine. And for the boys, check back later today and I will have a Kristen Bell treat just for you.
A note from GMMR:
If this were a list of the cutest people on TV then this would be a whole different discussion. I know I’m going to get a lot of comments asking why the man that makes the sun rise, John Krasinski, didn’t make my list. Let me just say that although I personally think JKras is one sexy little boy, I think with the gen pop he falls into the handsome and adorable category and that’s why he didn’t make the cut. The same goes for my other TV boyfriends: T.R. Knight (Grey’s Anatomy), Josh Radnor/Jason Segal/Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Jason Dohring/Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars), Nate Corddry (Studio 60) . And my TV girfriends: Jenna Fischer (The Office), Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), and Lucy Davis (Studio 60).

My hottie list would include Jason Dohring (Logan of V. Mars), Timothy Olyphant (formerly Seth Bullock of Deadwood), Zach Gilford (Matt on Friday Night Lights), Kyle Chandler of FNL, Kiefer Sutherland, Dominic Purcell (Linc on Prison Break), Scott Porter (Jason Street, FNL), Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) and Milo Ventimiglia (Peter, Heroes) and, the ladies: I can’t believe they listed Ali Larter but no Hayden Panettiere from Heroes; Connie Britton (FNL), Rena Sofer (Heroes and 24), Marisol Nichols (24), and Julie Gonzalo (Veronica Mars) .

I don’t like Karen with Jim, but Rashida is really gorgeous. It’s too bad they have to downplay her looks on the show.
Speaking of hot, have you seen BBC America’s “Robin Hood” advertised on this page? Check out this show! The star, Jonas Armstrong, has recently been added to the top of my “very hot” list.
No Wentworth, Bamber or Jensen?! Now that’s just wrong. Those three ooze sex appeal. And EL No. 1? I personally think Emilie De Ravin is sexier. And I know this girl just has a guest starring role right now on Heroes but she was on Life As We Know It…Missy Peregrym is probably the prettiest girl on television right now.

While I am a newbie lover of Grey’s Anatomy, I have to say Patrick Dempsey just doesn’t do it for me. He’s not ugly by any stretch of the imagination but I wouldn’t put him at number 1.

Hmm, I’m probably alone in this, but I think the sexiest man on Tv(besides, obviously, Mr. Krasinski) is Mike Rowe from ‘Dirty Jobs’. Oh man, he is hot, self deprecating, and completely hilarious. But I’ll second the mentions of Timothy Olyphant(and his costar Titus Welliver from Deadwood) and Kyle Chandler. Also Michael C. Hall (Dexter) and Eric Dane(Grey’s)
