What to Watch…Monday, December 17, 2007

December 17, 2007 by

Hmmm, I can’t say that all the shows listed below are representative of what I’ll be watching tonight but since there are very few “new” episodes left of any shows these days, I wanted to make sure you had a heads up on a few of them. And don’t forget, if you haven’t seen a show then it’s new to you, so you can always check out reruns of my faves HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (8pm on CBS) and THE BIG BANG THEORY (8:30pm on CBS).

My pick for tonight is going to have to be JOURNEYMAN. Tonight is the last episode before next week’s untimely finale. How I wish NBC would change their minds on this one…I’ve grown attached.

Clash of the Choirs | 8pm on NBC | New
Clash of the Choirs Debut: Musicians assemble hometown choirs to compete in a series of performances over four nights. Viewer votes determine the winning group. In the opener, the choirs perform for the first time.

Duel | 8pm on ABC | New

K-Ville | 9pm on Fox | New
K-Ville What to Watch “Ride Along”
Boulet and Cobb investigate a murderous drug dealer while being accompanied by a reporter from a New York City newspaper. Jodi Mazetta: Mozhan Marno.

Notes from the Underbelly | 9:30pm on ABC | New
Notes from the Underbelly What to Watch “Not Without My Noodles”

Journeyman | 10pm on NBC | New
Journeyman (NBC) “The Hanged Man”
Dan saves a mother and child from an RV on a cliff and learns the danger of leaving things undone in the past upon his return. Meanwhile, Katie’s sister visits and suspects Dan needs help.

October Road | 10pm on ABC | New
October Road What to Watch “Once Around the Block”
Hannah clashes with Ray’s ex-wife over the care of her sons. Meanwhile, Nick sets Ronnie up with Aubrey’s friend for a double date, and Pizza Girl pressures Phil to take his classic car out of the garage.

CSI: Miami | 10pm on CBS | New
CSI Miami What to Watch “Miami Confidential”
A meth lab is discovered in the apartment of a murder victim, and the investigation leads to an unscrupulous FBI agent with a secret life.

With most of my shows on hold until God knows when, I’ve decided to take this rare (although unfortunate) time to catch on shows past. So I’m here to announce that finally, FINALLY, I’ve started watching BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. Yes, I know, it’s a long time coming and long overdue, but hey, at least I’m getting around to it. I’ve watched the first four episodes so far, and so far I’m liking it. I find myself looking for a break to watch them, so that’s a good sign, right?

What are you watching tonight?

GMMR’s daily “What to Watch” is powered by MeeVee’s interactive TV listings. If you have TiVo you can record your shows directly from the MeeVee interactive guide. Just click on the show name and hit “Record to TiVo” to get started. Never miss your favorite show again.

I’m catching up on my Smallville viewing in the absence of new shows. However, since I have to wrap stocking stuffers tonight and need something mindless, chances are good I’ll be watching Clash of the Choirs while waiting for Journeyman.

I’m so glad you are finally catching up on BtVS! 🙂 Are you going to try to watch Angel too? It took me about 5 months to watch all seven seasons of Buffy and all five of Angel. But i was insane about it…I would watch 5 nights a week from 9pm to 1am. Then i would have big breaks when i was waiting for netflix to get me a dvd. I gave up on that after season 2. So i own buffy seasons 3-7.
Now i’m catching up on HIMYM. Just finished up with Season 1 and it really is as good as you say. 🙂

After I finished up HIMYM, I’ll watch Firefly and Serenity. And after that i’ll finally be putting that dent in my 100+ movie netflix que.

I am going to be watching the last of Journeyman and recording October Road to watch later in the evening. My usual Monday night until Journeyman is all gone!

  8. John on December 17th, 2007 2:43 pm

I will be watching Amazing Grace – which has its mini-season conclusion tomorrow.

  9. Billiam on December 17th, 2007 3:32 pm

    I’ll be watching Journeyman.

And although I have yet to see a single episode of Buffy, I did recently start watching both Freaks and Geaks and Undeclared (being inspired to do so by Judd Apatow’s great movies). It’s really funny to see Seth Rogen and Jason Segal in those old roles. I especially love Jason Segal playing the douche-bag boyfriend/romantic foil in Undeclared.

Of course there is no Office to watch this week, but I saw this for some fresh Dunder Mifflin material.

DM put out GNOME YOURSELF to compete with elf yourself from Office Max. This is much funnier, my cousin sent me this one with Michael in it http://www.gnomeyourself.com/view.aspx?gid=1B6078C4FF8246D9A50CAECDCCE0747E

And if you want to try it with a different character or yourself, you can do it at the homepage, http://www.gnomeyourself.com

it’s a good time during the writers’ strike

Yeah! You will love Buffy. Though, I didn’t care for the first season all that much, it gets better towards the end. The beginning of season 2 more or less is really when you’ll love it and the introduction of a “certain” character. hehe.

I’m not watching anything on TV tonight. But I am re watching Band of Brothers. I’m on episode 3 “Carentan” It’s a ton better than what left on TV right now.
