Just an hour ago there were four contestants vying to be in the AMERICAN IDOL finals. As of a few minutes ago, there are only three. But more on that in a moment.

Syesha, David(x2), and Jason took the stage to sing some god awful, cheesy tune. Probably picked out by Daddy Archuleta. The foursome walked back and forth across the stage in what I think was supposed to be choreography. I needed Dramamine.

Seacrest brought out Little Archuleta and surprise surprise he is safe. And joining him on the couch of safety is David Cook.

Wow, what a shocker - Jason Castro and Syesha Mercado are in the bottom two. Didn’t see that coming. But who will go home. (Ugh, we have over a half hour until we find out…seriously?)

Those annoying fan questions.

• Someone just asked David Cook out on a date while on tour (I think he’s waiting for a headshot).
• What has been their biggest challenge? None of them can put together a sentence.

Back to the actual show.Maroon 5 is performing. Adam Levine is crazy sexy in a dorky way. Does he not know the words? Are they on the floor? Why does he keep staring at his shoes? Whoever has been doing the sound checks the past two nights needs to be FIRED…the audio has been horrible! Did I mention Adam Levine looks good? Yeah? Ok, just wanted to be sure.

I wish I could say that Seacrest is eliminating someone, but sadly we first need to hear from Bo Bice. No offense, Bo, but this show is dragging…and so it your long hair all over the Idol stage. Ew. Get it cut already.

After a nationwide vote of 51 million, the person leaving AMERICAN IDOL tonight is…Jason Castro.

As expected.  As it should be. I’ve never seen someone so genuinely happy to be going home.
