So Much TV News, So Little Time

June 15, 2006 by

It’s once again raining here in Boston (surprise, surprise), so I’m eternally grateful for these fab pics of one of TV Guide’s Hottest Men, Wentworth Miller. One look and the sun will be shining and the birds chirping. (Just Jared)

Dharma has maybe lost it a little bit without Greg. Jenna Elfman had a nasty altercation with someone on the street who clearly doesn’t share her views on Scientology. Honestly, to each their own, but from a PR perspective, shouldn’t celebrity Scientologists just chill out these days and do everything in their power to bring only positive news forth about their religion…um, organization…um, way of life? (Fatback & Collards)

We loathed them on The Amazing Race, and now Jonathan and Victoria are back to make themselves look ever worse on network TV (I didn’t know that was possible). The notorious couple was on Celebrity Fear Factor and chaos ensued when Jonathan and host Joe Rogan threw down. Check out the video. (DuckyxDale)

Not everyone loves Oprah. Especially when she shows up at your wedding, univited and with a camera crew. If Oprah shows up at my wedding, she better at least bring a BMW (and Nate Berkus). (Glitterati Gossip)

President Genius strikes again. Bush now gets off on making fun of the disabled. Way to go Georgie. Check out the video of George Bush poking fun at a blind reporter. And no, I’m not kidding. This really happened. (Best Week Ever)

A special thanks to Maureen Ryan of the Chicago Tribune for listing GiveMeMyRemote.com as one of TV sites she checksout “fairly obsessively” in her article ‘Highlights of the TV Blogs, Summer Version’. Right back at ya, Mo! (Chicago Tribune)

and finally….

Holy S#%t this is hysterical. I haven’t caught Jamie Kennedy’s new show Blowin’ Up, because well…I am 30 and I try to avoid MTV as much as possible (all due respect to RW/RR Challenge and The Hills). But you have to check out this video of Jamie’s video Rollin’ with Saget. This is genius. Warning the language may be a tad offensive.

Every time I think I can’t possibly hate the president more he does something even “stupider.”

Also – why does Scientology make so many good people go loony tunes?

Then again…the same could be said about a lot of things. *shrug*

Thanks for the shout out! I read about that Elfman/Scientology altercation yesterday and it made me laugh. Scientologists are retarded.

I actually watched FF and it was a glorious moment! lol I personally didn’t think that it was wrong of Joe to assume that Jonathan and Victoria hit each other because for god sake look at how verbally abusive he is! Joe, I believe he is a kickboxing champion and he is built, so he can throw down. VH1 had a FF special and Joe said that no one from production would protect him if a contestant tried to attack him and from what I saw, that seems to be true haha. I heart the Miz! Trishelle on the other hand….Heckling the other contestants IS a strategy, stupid Victoria.

I saw the video of W on TDS last night ….oh boy lol

Church of Scientology…as Brian Griffin would say “chillax”

I absolutely hate Fear Factor, but when i saw that “the miz” was on it, i decided to watch (since i have seen him countless times on real world/road rules challenges). Anyway, i laughed my ass watching Jonathan and Victoria chew each other out. He is definitely abusive and she isn’t such a sweetheart herself, throwing punches like that. They’re both horrible people, and i’m glad Joe told them how it is. He’s right, she had no right to punch someone, just b/c they’re abusive like that. I found the show amusing, although i was a little disappointed when they got eliminated…i was hoping to watch more of their bickering on the continuation of that episode. Dang.

Kris, its pretty much one of the best reality tv moments ever! I can’t stop watching it. Loves it!
