Big Screen, Small Screen, Big Blind, and 80’s Stars

Mandy Moore, License to WedSick of License to Wed information and pics yet? Hope not because we have got a looooong time until this movie premieres, and I plan on writing about it a LOT!!! I’m not the only one talking about License to Wed. Just Jared has some some new pics, including some of Mandy Moore in the wedding dress that she gets to wear while marrying John Krasinski. It was hard to look at her. I got a little emotional. But it’s all fake. She’s not really marrying him. It’s all fake. It’s all fake. My therapist keeps telling me to say that over and over again. (Just Jared)

Zach BraffSpeaking of our favorite TV funnymen in big time movies. Zach Braff launched his new website, ZachBraff.com – have you seen it? Well make sure you head over there to check out the trailer to Zach’s new movie, The Last Kiss. The movie also stars one of my favorite small screen gals, Rachel Bilson. (ZachBraff.com)

Dukes of HazzardJust two good ol boys, never meanin’ no harm…oh how I loved The Dukes of Hazzard back in the day. My sister, Karen, my cousin Kevin and I used to play Dukes for hours outside of my grandparents’ house. It was a special day when I got to play Daisy Duke – a very special day. If you loved The Dukes, then you need to check out Tube Talk’s interviews with Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke and all your other favorites from back in the day. (Tube Talk)

Corey Haim, Corey FeldmanThe FAB Michael K of Dlisted.com reports that “The Coreys” (Haim and Feldman…like there were any other) are planning on starring in their own buddy comedy, called…well “The Coreys”. Everwood gets cancelled and this crap makes it to our TVs? Wow!! Just…wow! (Dlisted)

The Office Season 2 DVDThe Office Season 2 DVDs are now available for pre-order. Make sure you get yours NOW!! They are going to be really hard to find. Trust me on this one. The DVDs are being released on Sept. 12th, and yes, I am calling in sick on September 13th. (Universal Home Video)

Jenna FischerJust a reminder that The Office’s Jenna Fischer will be on Bravo’s Celebrity Poker Showdown tonight. If you’ve seen the promos you know we are in for some serious Jenna Fischer cuteness tonight. But most importantly, all the celebrities are playing for New Orleans-related charities. The tragedy of Hurricane Katrina is still very real for the people of New Orleans. Please take the time to read Jenna Ficher’s MySpace blog to learn more about her trip. And if you are a fan of The Office, let Jenna know by donating to her chosen charity, Catholic Charities of New Orleans. Please donate whatever you can. Any amount will make a difference. Click here to donate or call 1-800-311-0826.

P.S. Jenna is wearing the cutest hoodie that says “Beesly” on the back.  Squash her cuteness!!!!  Although how much better would it be if it said “Halpert” on the back?!

Moore does NOT look happy in that dress. I would be freakin excited! Even if it’s a fake wedding, dang! But i’m like you, GMMR: it’s fake, it’s fake. lol kidding. After seeing some of these pictures on set, she doesn’t really look that fun to hang out w/. John more so, for sure, but not her. Or is that just me?

I checked out Zachbraff.com right when it opened and it seems pretty cool. He said he’s going to have film and photography contests, and maybe whoever wins gets to follow him while he directs something, whether it be a music video or episode of Scrubs.

Jenna could not possibly have been cuter last night. I don’t think I could stand two hours of watching people play poker otherwise.

Hm. I thought Corey Haim died. I guess not if he’s going to be on a comedy. Although…I really wouldn’t put it past the network execs. *rolls eyes*

I remember seeing a picture on Jenna’s myspace page of her and Angela wearing those sweatshirts but totally forgot until she stood up last night. So cute! I was hard to watch because that Mario Cantone guy was unbelievably annoying but I’m glad Jenna made it as far as she did.

Ducky, don’t diss the Catholics. We didn’t invade Iraq.

Also, isn’t the Coreys supposed to be a reality-type dealie? I thought that’s what 80’s stars were best at developing for themselves.

  8. GMMR on June 22nd, 2006 3:06 pm

OK…shuttin’ this one down before it goes anywhere. No more Catholic debate.

  9. duckyxdale on June 22nd, 2006 5:49 pm

I so don’t get the Iraq thing other than you’re from Canada. Regardless, Kath’s shut us down… no more.

So how ’bout them Mets?!! Another big win today! Woohoo!

Was Major League Baseball the first reality show on TV?

    Talk amongst yourselves.
