House – Meaning
SEASON PREMIERE: A pain-free House opens his third season on the run. Literally. After eight weeks of rehab from the shooting, he’s running to the hospital, where two patients await him.

SERIES PREMIERE: Ron Livingston and Rosemarie DeWitt star as ace FBI crisis negotiators Matt Flannery and Emily Lehman. They’re also clandestine lovers—until Matt outs them as a couple as a negotiating ploy with a hostage taker in the opener.
Rock Star: Supernova
The singers perform for Supernova. Brooke Burke and Dave Navarro host.
Big Brother 7: All-Stars

I’m SOOO excited about the House premiere. I’m practically on the edge of my seat.
Standoff looks good too but I’m debating about whether to even watch it because once Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars start, I won’t be watching anything else. (I always tape VM and watch House. Someone please send me Tivo for Christmas. Please.)

I’ve already watched the House and Standoff premieres, but I’m still excited about them! I have non-spoilery reviews of both up on TV & Sympathy in case that will help you make up your mind about Standoff. Personally, I think it was worth my time…though I share your VM-related dilemma.

What about the premiere of Nip/Tuck?!? As long as it doesn’t get as freakin’ weird as it did last season, I’m watching that tonight.
