Wow. Kai, if this doesn’t qualify you as a fan, I don’t know what does.

Woe, dude. How is it possible you spotted that? I think Kai is a nickname for Krasinski, thats’ what I think.

Sorry. #5 is a different Becky than #1. Had to clear that up so John knows who to call! 🙂

Whoa, great find! So, what was Jim’s excuse for playing badly then? Hmmmm….

Hey John, feel free to call Becky #1 as well! While you’re at it, just call all Beckys. Spread the love.

do people like pause every scene just to find something interesting? that’s a little much don’t you think?

    Not for a true fan.

Wow, good catch. I loved the scene where Rashida Jones or whatever her character name is laughs at Jim for his hopping around and then shoots him. It was so cute when she pointed out how cute he was!!!

Good question, kimberlee! I think he’s playing poorly just because he can. Like, he’s trying to somehow point out to them how stupid the whole thing is. Or maybe he doesn’t really _want_ to fit in at Stamford.

Or maybe he hasn’t played it before. Maybe, I dunno, Mark left that in his room or something. Maybe Mark had been trying to get him to play for years and now Jim’s totally kicking himself for not giving it a try.

I think it’s more believable that he’s got some familiarity with the game, though. I mean, not able to turn around? That’s a symptom of, like, never having played a video game ever. And Jim definitely seem like the guy who ran the HALO tournament club in college. (Maybe I’m just meta-watching, though. I mean, since we know that J. Kras is great at Madden.)

John the Prop Guy responded to my message on myspace. I told him how Kai spotted the game on Jim’s desk last season and asked if it was the same game as played in Stamford. His reply stated that, yes, it is the same game, and no, the writers never thought about it being on Jim’s desk. It was not intentional to have the game be brought up again. Basically, they forgot it was on Jim’s desk.

OH! Also, he told me that he talked with John K. (!) about it that day. He forgot it was on the desk too.

I Just realized why Jim sucks at Call of Duty!!! His computer on his desk is an Apple. I looked up the system requirements online for C.O.D., and it only runs on PCs. Jim probably wanted to play it, but never got to because it wouldnt run on his Mac.
So in otherwords, there were no errors in writing The Coup, saying that Jim sucks at the game. He most likely does.
