Name that Show

January 9, 2007 by

woman_on_couch_TV_blue.jpg

My previous Jericho post got me thinking…what other shows are you all watching that I don’t know about?Β  I guess it’s something we don’t talk about often and probably because I’ve never asked.Β  So as we move forward in this new year I would really LOVE to know which shows are your favorites.

If you have a free minute, share with me (and your fellow GMMRers) what shows you are currently watching.Β  And PLEASE make sure to include those that I don’t currently cover here at GiveMeMyRemote.com.

Hey! I don’t think you have ever mentioned watching Dexter, so I am highly recommending it! Michael C Hall is perfect as Dexter and each episode will leave you wanting more. All of the shows you love, I love, so hopefully you will at least check out the pilot!

  2. Michelle on January 9th, 2007 11:01 am

Shows I watch that are not currently on GMMR:
    1. “Knights of Prosperity” (I know it’s only aired once so far, but I know I’m going to love all of them).
    2. “CSI: NY”
    3. “Scrubs”
    4. “Entourage”
    5. “Wonder Pets” (on Nick Jr. – surprisingly entertaining for a preschool show, although I don’t expect that it should get coverage on GMMR anytime soon ;-))

  3. Whirl on January 9th, 2007 11:14 am

I watch a lot of the shows that are covered on here, most obviously Gilmore Girls, The Office and Grey’s Anatomy. But some more shows I never miss.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart – AMAZING!
Survivor – Something about it still sucks me in.

But one show that I think everyone should be watching is Bones. I tried to resist it at first but the chemistry between the lead characters is just electric, and I mean its David Boreanaz so thats not hard to do. The episode story lines arch well with the continuing story of the heroine trying to find out what happened to her parents.

So you know GMMR….if you ever want it recapped πŸ˜‰

I get pretty good coverage here on your site. I watch The Office, Scrubs,30 Rock and ER. That is pretty much all. I guess I never noticed until I typed that, that I only really watch TV on Thursday nights. Unless there is a Suns game on. I also really love Ellen Degeneres. That’s about all I regularly watch. You are doing an amazing job though. Thank you for that!

  16. Russ on January 9th, 2007 11:42 am

Man vs. Wild on the Discovery Channel. So cool. That guy is so crazy I love it.

Also The Class, Two and a Half Men, Corner Gas (It only shows in Canada, for now anyway), NBC on Thursday up to ER, Shark instead of ER, Las Vegas, ‘Til Death, 24 when that starts again, Friday Night Lights, The Simpsons, Cold Case, In Case of Emergency…

  34. mg714 on January 9th, 2007 12:41 pm

On shows that aren’t regularly covered on GMMR, I really like Everybody Hates Chris, though I haven’t been able to keep up with it too well this season since it’s now on at the same time as Prison Break and HIMYM.

I also have liked Smallville in the past and am looking forward to the next two new eps (especially the Justice League ep.). But like with Everybody Hates Chris, Smallville is on at the same time as Earl/Office and Ugly Betty.

And now that GMMR has found Friday Night Lights, I hope she’ll be covering it more often on the site. It’s become my new obsession! πŸ™‚

  35. Thursday Morning on January 9th, 2007 12:41 pm

And also Smallville! Almost forgot about that:)

I mean, I watch all the shows that you cover as well–VM, Greys, Heroes, Lost, The Office.

  36. mg714 on January 9th, 2007 12:42 pm

Oh – I forgot to add that Brothers and Sisters has also become a favorite.

The cable shows I watch when they’re in season are: Sopranos, Entourage, and Weeds. Hope this helps! πŸ™‚

  41. Jess on January 9th, 2007 12:49 pm

Hi hon! I know I’ve told you this before, but you have to try Weeds. It’s hilarious and twisted, just like you. πŸ™‚ And it’s only 1/2 an hour so it doesn’t take up too much time. I’ve also gotten into Brothers and Sisters and The L Word, both fantastic!

  42. Angelica on January 9th, 2007 12:49 pm

Oh, yeah…I totally forgot about Extras…don’t ask me how. Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are geniuses.

  43. GMMR on January 9th, 2007 12:53 pm

Jess, you want me to try Weed? Come one now…don’t you think I am a bit old for peer pressure.

Believe it or not, I don’t have Showtime…but I think I’m going to bite the bullet and just get it already. I just got the first 6-8 eps of this season’s The L Word on DVD, so I will definitely check it out.

  51. Nicky on January 9th, 2007 1:32 pm

Oh yeah, I forgot So You Think You Can Dance which I really miss. I think I am going to try to watch American Idol this season. And I think I might have gotton some of the days mixed up in my post above. I love my DVRs. If I didn’t have them, I would miss most of my shows because I’m not good at remembering what day and time they are on.

    I watch religiously:

    The Class
    Heroes
    Gilmore Girls
    House
    Veronica Mars
    The Office
PBS Saturday night British shows (yes, I’m an Anglophile and proud of it ;-))

I also catch Ugly Betty every chance I get but since it’s against The Office it doesn’t get the time it deserves.

I used to be addicted to L&O: SVU, CSI, and CSI: Miami but my sleepy time is 10pm nowadays and I just can’t make myself stay awake. Oh, if only for dvr…

Also…I’m REALLY glad to see that The Class is getting some comment “air-time” here. You should SOOO be watching The Class, especially if you like How I Met Your Mother. It’s amazing.

  55. Nicole on January 9th, 2007 1:41 pm

Office, Scrubs, 30 Rock, The O.C., Ugly Betty (whew – Thursdays are action-packed).

Also: Gilmore Girls, Weeds, Big Love, Dexter, Lost, Daily Show, Colbert Report.

And, I haven’t watched it from the beginning, and I’m a little confused with the timeline of events for the episodes I’ve seen, but I’m loving My Boys on TBS. Great cast – very watchable.

  56. Michelle on January 9th, 2007 1:44 pm

Oh – I forgot “Psych,” too. I love that show. I am ridiculously excited that it’s almost time for it to come back :-).

    Entourage
    Big Love
    My Boys
    The Apprentice

  58. Marie on January 9th, 2007 1:49 pm

Good question, GMMR – thanks for asking for this feedback! Shows I don’t miss: 24, Lost, The Office, and Heroes. I think the only one you don’t cover is 24.

I really liked How I Met Your Mother last season, but I just haven’t been making time for it this year. My TV time is very limited, so while there are LOTS of great shows on, I don’t even try most of them, since I know I don’t have time for more “can’t miss” shows.

Like LaLa, I also watch Masterpiece Theatre on occasion – love those adaptations of British novels!

Reading over the comments, I can’t help wondering WHO was bugging BJ Novak to watch The Wire – because no one here (yet) has even claimed they watch it! Curiouser and curiouser…

  59. Fancy New Beesly on January 9th, 2007 2:04 pm

    Addicted to House M.D. & Grey’s Anatomy!!!!

  60. Shannon on January 9th, 2007 2:27 pm

One show that I haven’t had the opportunity to watch, but have seen it advertised quite a bit (and the Season 1 DVD just came out today, which I’m going to try to rent this weekend) is “Extras” on HBO. It stars Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant (creators of “The Office”). It looks really good.

  61. Emily on January 9th, 2007 2:27 pm

Instead of listing everything I watch, because you pretty much watch everything I watch, I just want to plug Supernatural. Only one other comment has mentioned this show so far but it’s fantastic! It’s like an hour-long horror/thriller with two hot brothers driving a kick ass car all to a classic rock soundtrack. And if you want to catch up on the first season you’ll get several episodes with Jeffrey Dean Morgan…never a bad thing.

  62. Gia Dorsey on January 9th, 2007 2:38 pm

    My Faves are:

    Sunday: Family Guy
Gray’s Anatomy – just started watching Season 1 on Lifetime
    Monday: Heros
    Studio 60
    Tuesday: House
    Wednesday: Lost
    Thursday: My Name is Earl
    THE OFFICE!! of course
    Scrubs
    Friday: Monk

CSI and Law & Orders are my filler shows – love them all!
Extras – very funny – looking forward to the start of season 2!!

I think thats it…no wonder my DVR is FULL!!

  63. Jo on January 9th, 2007 2:47 pm

sad. I think I’m the first to mention:
    Battlestar Galactica!!

HIMYM, Prison Break, Heroes, GG, VM, My Boys, One Tree Hill (guilty pleasure), Beauty & the Geek, Ugly Betty, Grey’s, The Office!!!!

When I run out of time before bed, I catch 30 Rock, The Unit, NCIS and The Class online during the day.

I’m also slowly catching up on Buffy. I know, I know. but thankfully 5 days a week and I’m at the end of Season 4 right now. For background noise I watch Mythbusters, anything on History or E! channels.

  64. molly on January 9th, 2007 2:48 pm

    The Office
    Ugly Betty
    Gilmore Girls
    Scrubs
    Heros

  65. Alexa on January 9th, 2007 2:56 pm

In addition to “The Office” I watch “Weeds” “Nip/Tuck” “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Veronica Mars”.

I used to love “The Amazing Race” but I’ve gotten bored with it.

  66. Emm on January 9th, 2007 3:03 pm

    My must see TV:

24, GG, VM, L&O: SVU, LOST, Grey’s, Men in Trees, Ugly Betty, Heroes, and last but definitely not least…The Office.

    Online or in reruns:
HIMYM, Studio 60, The Unit, Scrubs

    Reality:
Amazing Race, Project Runway, Top Chef

Is there a 12-step program for this TV addiction? πŸ˜‰

  67. Joolie on January 9th, 2007 3:09 pm

Besides The Office and Grey’s, I also watch:

    The Colbert Report
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
    Campus Ladies
    30 Rock
    CSI: NY (guilty pleasure)
Weeds (which recently finished its second season)

and back when I had HBO, I would watch the Ricky Gervais show, Extras. I think the second season begins this Sunday.

    Friday Night Lights
    Men In Trees

  73. James T. on January 9th, 2007 3:41 pm

It’s sad but I have a set of shows I watch and there tends ot be little room for new ones, so I rarely watch anything else.

    Besides The Office
These are the shows I literally watch every weekday:
    MadTV
    King of The Hill
    Malcolm in the Middle
    That 70’s Show
    Simpsons Seinfeld
    The Daily Show
    The Colbert Report
    Spongebob
    Whose Line is it Anyway

And shows I like but don’t watch at any set time
    Just Shoot Me
    Fresh Prince of Bel Air
    Futurama
    Mythbusters
    Invader Zim
    How It’s Made
    Becker
    Monk

    And more I forget.

  74. LaLa on January 9th, 2007 3:51 pm

To Marie: If you like the Masterpiece Theater adaptations of British novels, then you MUST watch the new mini-series version of Jane Eyre that will be airing in two weeks. As I said, I was able to see it early, and let me tell you, it was fantastic! Ruth Wilson was luminous and brilliant as Jane, and Toby Stephens is the best, most scorching Rochester ever. Seriously, you guys have got to see this brilliant and passionate adaptation of the one of the best books ever – you won’t be sorry!

  75. Todd on January 9th, 2007 4:10 pm

I am thankful for DVR everyday because I don’t know how else I could work a full time job, raise 2 girls, and watch this much TV.

    Family Guy
    Intervention
    Iron Chef America
    You’re the one that I want…
    Sell This House
    Paula’s Home Cooking
    7th Heaven (guilty pleasure)
The View (and not just to see who is winning the Rosie/Trump war)
Days of our Lives (guilty pleasure)
!!! THE CLASS !!! (By far one of the funniest shows on TV)
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
    Supernanny
    Nip/Tuck
    Law & Order SVU
    Medium
    Amazing Race
    Survivor
    Grey’s Anatomy
    My Name is Earl
    Scrubs
    30 Rock
    ER
    Smallville
    Ace of Cakes
    Any Food Network Challenge
    Ghost Whisperer
    Saturday Night Live
    Jeopardy
Chronicle (does that make me old???)
and although it is getting tired, I can’t resist American Idol

Seriously though, anyone who has not seen THE CLASS I whole heartedly suggest it.

  76. HealthcareHottie on January 9th, 2007 4:13 pm

I noticed a lot of Showtime shows mentioned, but nobody brought up Sleeper Cell. If you are going to get Showtime, I highly recommend it. It’s like 24 plus more; a suspensful, thrilling, action-packed roller coaster.

I don’t have a DVR or TiVo so I can’t commit to too many shows. I never miss The Office of course (the only show during which I do not answer the phone, door or any question from my husband or child).

    I also watch:
    Heroes
    House (when I catch it)
    Studio 60
My Boys (new guilty pleasure show)
24 – But not during the regular season. My husband can’t deal with waiting to see what happens from week to week, so we wait months for the DVD’s to come out and then we have a 24 marathon. We just finished Season 5, I don’t think I’m going to be able to resist the premier on Sunday though, so I’ll probably watch without him.

I watch a number of the shows already covered but also watch Crossing Jordan, Scrubs, Rome, CSI, CSI NY but NOT CSI Miami, and a few BBC shows like Doctor Who, Torchwood, Foyle’s War, Midsomer Murders et cetera.

  82. Em on January 9th, 2007 6:07 pm

Brothers & Sisters, How I Met Your Mother, Heroes, Studio 60, House, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, Ugly Betty, My Name is Earl, The Office, The O.C., Grey’s Anatomy, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Big Love, Entourage, Dexter, and My Boys. Now excuse me while I go kiss my DVR.

I forgot my summer OBSESSION of Denis Leary and Co. on Rescue Me….

  85. SammysAngel on January 9th, 2007 6:38 pm

I watch a lot of what you cover, including Grey’s Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, Scrubs, Entourage, Friday Night Lights and the Office. But one of my all time favorite shows that you don’t cover, and I really really think you should give a try is Supernatural. Its a great show on the CW with awesome writing and great acting and chemistry between the two main actors, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles (not to mention, they’re two of the hottest men on TV πŸ™‚ ). Coming from a fellow VM and GG fan, let me say there are not enough well written shows on the CW, in my honest opinion, but Supernatural is right up in the ranks of Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars.

  86. Scooter McGavin on January 9th, 2007 6:41 pm

Mondays: How I Met Your Mother, Everybody Hates Chris, Heroes, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

    Tuesdays: Veronica Mars

Wedensday: Beauty and the Geek, Friday Night Lights, Let’s Rob Mick Jagger, Lost

Thursday: Survivor, Smallville, My Name Is Earl, The Office, Supernatural

Others: Rescue Me, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, The Surreal Life, Flavor of Love, The (White) Rapper Show, I’m with Rolling Stone, South Park, Pardon the Interuption, Jim Rome Is Burning

Premium Show I’m Catching (Will Catch) on DVD: Rome, Big Love, Dexter

  87. Ashley on January 9th, 2007 7:22 pm

Let’s go by day of the week:
Sunday: Apprentice, The Amazing Race and The Simpsons
    Monday: Studio 60
Tuesday: nothing really good is on that I watch until American Idol starts
Wednesday: LOST, Jericho, The Nine (I know it’s probably canceled but I love it)
Thursday: Survivor, Grey’s Anatomy, ER, My Name is Earl, The Office, and 30 Rock
And during the summer: Big Brother

I really like TV. Y’all are doing a great job with The Office, but I would like for you to add something maybe on LOST and Jericho. Those are my two other favorites.

  91. Jen on January 9th, 2007 7:38 pm

Some shows that hit my “regular” list are:

House, Gilmore Girls, Medium, ER (this season for some reason), My Name is Earl, The Office (my favourite!), and Grey’s Anatomy.

Some others that I watch but am not devastated if I miss a show: CSI’s (in the order of the original, NY, and least favourite Miami), Cold Case, Brothers and Sisters, among a few others.

I do love my TV! πŸ™‚

  92. galveston on January 9th, 2007 7:45 pm

I watch Rome, The Wire, Weeds, The Shield, and Supernatural. Occasionally I’ll watch Veronica Mars. That’s all. The cable dramas are superb, and Supernatural is the most underrated program on network at the moment. It’s criminal that’s it’s stuck in a timeslot against the sickeningly overrated Grey’s Anatomy. Jensen Ackles could act rings around McDreamy and Meredith the breathy one. People assume it’s a show about spooks and pretty boys. It isn’t. It’s about a family who happens to have had tragedy touch them via demons. The Winchesters are the best brother pair on television, Heroes and Prison Break included.

The Wire is the most superb program on television, period. Its ensemble cast also puts Grey’s Anatomy to shame. This is how real cops and real criminals act. Dominic West is quite the underrated actor. How is GA getting nominated while the Wire is not? It renders award shows moot. Weeds is the single funniest comedy on television, while Rome is debauched fun at its best with yet another fine ensemble of actors. Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo, though not brothers, share a fraternal like friendship that rivals the Winchesters on Supernatural.

  93. Alli on January 9th, 2007 8:09 pm

    my fav medical shows:
    -scrubs
    -grey’s anatomy
    -house

oh and also can’t get enough of
    -lost
    -heroes
    -phyc
    -studio 60
    -law and order: svu
    -entourage
    -the wire
    -desperate housewives
    -cold case

i am ashamed to admit i only watch the auditions on american idol, but there’s one show where i know this won’t happen to me.

-grease: you’re the one that i want
those people really have talent and i love the fact that its a real broadway show. it may be just a guilty pleasure, but i’m sticking around to watch it anyway. =]

  94. takestani on January 9th, 2007 8:11 pm

House–Hugh Laurie can’t get enough praise
The Wire–No one gets into trouble like Jimmy McNulty
Supernatural–Ackles and Padalekci, best brothers on television
Weeds–Mary Louise Parker is the funniest woman EVER
The Shield–Vic Vic Vic….you are so corrupt and Mr. Chiklis blows me away in his performance.
24–Jack Jack, you’re our man. If you can’t save us, no one can

  95. Nat on January 9th, 2007 8:19 pm

I cannot say enough good things about Supernatural. It is the only reason I watch TV any more! Its up against the hardest competition, and still pulls though with a fair number of viewers. The actors Jared Padilecki, and Jensen Ackles, are two of the most talented actors on TV. Jeffery Dean Morgan, who I believe many know from Grays, played as their father till his death a few episodes back. This show brings you real myths and folk lore, and not some monster of the week that they pull outa their ass. This is my first, and only pick, for the best TV show around. Watch it!

  96. Steph on January 9th, 2007 8:53 pm

My favorite tv show is Supernatural. It is one of the best shows on tv. It is the only show I never miss. The actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are two of the most talented actors on TV. This show is more than 2 hot guys fighting monsters each week. The relationship between the 2 brothers is an integral part of the show. Everybody who hasn’t seen it should check it out!!!

  97. Kim on January 9th, 2007 8:55 pm

Supernatural – I highly recommend this show. I have never enjoyed a series as much as I have enjoyed this one.
3rd Rock From the Sun – This has got to be the funniest show I have ever seen.
Dead Like Me – It’s a very clever and enjoyable series. I watch it whenever I can.
    Heroes
    Gilmore Girls
    The X-Files

  98. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 9th, 2007 9:06 pm

    What a great thread!

    Mon:
    Corner Gas (Canadian)
    How I Met Your Mother
The Class – I kinda liked but didn’t love the pilot, then the next few eps didn’t really do it for me. I gave it one last chance and the ep that week was fantastic, and it’s been that way ever since.
The Adventures of New Christine – love love love Julia Louis Dreyfus!
    Studio 60

    Tues:
    Gilmore Girls
    House

    Wed:
    Lost
The Nine – wishful thinking lol

    Thurs:
    The Office of course
    Grey’s Anatomy
Earl, Scrubs and 30 Rock I watch and enjoy, but I wouldn’t rearrange my schedule for them

    Fri:
Hey, I have a life outside of tv sometimes!

    Sat:
    Ditto

    Sunday:
    Amazing Race
Brothers and Sisters – I am loving this show – it shot right up to my top 5 list

    Other:
The Hour – it pays to be Canadian when you can top each day off with an hour of yummy and fascinating George Stromboulopoulis.
    Big Brother
    Daily Show
    Letterman
    Conan

I’ve recently given up on What About Brian and Desperate Housewives. I just didn’t have time for them anymore.

  99. lilygil on January 9th, 2007 9:07 pm

The Shield blows away all the competition. Will corrupt Vic’s past finally catch up to him and destroy him? Dutch and CC are a hoot. I just wish Glenn Close were still on the show.

Supernatural is underrated and a half. I can’t believe I *care* about the pain that these two characters are experiencing so much. Dean blaming himself for his father’s death broke my heart. Ackles just brought it like you wouldn’t believe.

Gilmore Girls hasn’t been the same since Lorelai slept with that milquetoast Christopher. Thanks for ruining the show on your way out the door, Amy. Jerk.

Battlestar Galactica is another former great that’s lost its way. What is Ronald D. Moore thinking giving us this insufferable soap opera with Starbuck and Apollo? If I wanted Meredith and McDreamy in space, I’d shoot my sister’s copy of Grey’s Anatomy out of a cannon.

  100. Annika on January 9th, 2007 9:21 pm

    Sunday: 7th Heaven
    Monday: Hero’s
    Tuesday: Gilmore Girls
    Veronica Mars
    Wednesday: America’s Next Top Model
Thursday: SUPERNATURAL!!!!! i just really need to plug this show. I like greys anatomy just fine, but come on, it’s the same story line over and over again. who is meredith having sex with this week and what is the new patient that will make you cry because of there tragic story? really you think that i care? no i really don’t. Supernatural is the story about 2 brothers (Ackles) and (Padalecki) no to mention that they are amazing actors but there not bad to look at either. and it’s a new story line every week with that same underlying family drama that everyone who watches it comes to love. there are, hell hounds, evil clowns, zombie’s, demon’s, ghost’s, etc. and that’s just from season 2! really you should check it out, break away from the curse of gray’s anatomy and watch a really kick ass show.1:)
    Friday:
    Psych
    Monk

  101. Steph on January 9th, 2007 9:31 pm

    Ok!!!… lets see…

    Monday: 24, Heroes, Studio 60
Tuesday: American Idol (even though it angers me half the time)
    Wednesday: One Tree Hill, Jericho
Thursday: Smallville, SUPERNATURAL! (WOOT!), The O.C. and ER
    Friday: Las Vegas

BTW i think Grey’s Anatomy is the Antichrist of Television. I watched it when Denny was on. Loved that storyline.. but got a few episodes into this season and realized i was losing brain cells watching that show..

    No offense… LOL

OK, there are more (shows that I know for sure that you cover like the Office and Veronica Mars). I hope I didn’t mention other shows that you cover. If I did, I apologize. This list has made me realize that I watch way too much TV. I think I need to start paring this list down πŸ™‚ Good luck!

Just chiming in to say….please cover Supernatural!! I really think you would enjoy this show. It is so much more than a show about demons and monsters. It is a show about family, and loyalty, and pain, and faith, and love. The performances are moving, the brother relationship is the best sibling relationship on TV, the demons are scary, and, well, the boys are HOT. That definitely helps.

Rent Season One on DVD and then go download Season Two from iTunes. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve seen Supernatural, and I’m not saying it’s not a good show, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. A little too scary for me. And I may be wrong, but isn’t it on Thursday night? Too much TV scheduled already. But who is to say I won’t find someone else to cover the show more in 2007

  122. Emily on January 10th, 2007 6:22 pm

Supernatural—-one of the best shows on tv! Excellent plot and keeps you in suspense week after week!

    Other shows I watch:
    NCIS
    Prison Break

GMMR, before you give up on Supernatural as being too scary for your tastes, might I get you to humor me and look at these two short (slightly spoilery) clips from its second season? The posters aren’t lying when they tell you it’s far more than a spooky scooby doo with pretty young boys. It’s a family who happens to have had tragedy inflicted on it by the supernatural. Its cast is as legit as any on television, most definitely including the melodrama of Grey’s where surgical residents can cut LVAD wires, circumvent transplant lists, and suffer no professional consequences as a result of their actions. Give me the supernatural any day. These clips are indicative of what these two young actors are capable of.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not calling into question the quality of “Supernatural”. I’ve heard nothing but great things. I saw the first few eps back in S1 and I didn’t find it to my liking, but again it’s not that I didn’t think it was good, but it’s just not a show that at this point in time I can find room for in my schedule. If I had more time, I would definitely watch more TV and cover it on GMMR. But I do appreciate the clips. I may look into trying to find someone to cover Supernatural more on the site.

Thank you, GMMR. It’s just that the focus of Supernatural has really been altered between season one and season two. It was far more episodic and “monster of the week” during season one, but it’s developed a depth this season that I, not of the magic 18-34 demo, didn’t expect. Watching season one didn’t prepare me for season two because of the differences and the sincere character development. Talk about your pleasant surprises. Anyway, thank you for your attention.

I want to echo burgundy’s sentiments about how much Supernatural has changed in season two. It’s a much more mature show. Now that we’ve covered that, Rome deserves just as much love. Ray Stevenson and Kevin McKidd steal that series out from under everyone, but Max Pirkis is no slouch.

Well, since I don’t do mainstream and am picky, I watch Supernatural. The show has superb acting, something you don’t see too much of on tv, great writing, it’s dark, edgy, has humor, heck it has it all. One of the best shows on tv and I’m so glad that it’s on, otherwise my tv would probably never be turned on. πŸ˜€

supernatural is the only show I want to hear about and discuss, It has the most realistic sibling relationship on tv and makes me really care about these characters. It is also the most underated show which is a shame, the acting is wonderful and the storylines are awsome! I think being on the CW, people assume it’s a teenage fantasy show that has no depth, that is absolutley not so!

Recently I’ve fallen madly in love with DOCTOR WHO! It’s just a completely fun show and every now and again I would catch the last few minutes before Battlestar Galactica would come on and I just got hooked! David Tennant is right up there with John Krasinski on my Crush List!

Other than that you cover everything else I like! EVERYTHING! πŸ™‚

I just discovered Studio 60 yesterday and it’s absolutely amazing. I think you would love it. The acting is amazing, the writing is great, and it’s both funny and semi-dramatic. Your word for that is dramady. Anyway, they deal with a lot of issues that are really important and controversial and I think you should start to watch it, even if you don’t cover it on the site.
