  2. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 8:25 pm

Hmmm you’re picks are on tonight GMMR – so far anyway 🙂 Let’s hope the trend continues…

  3. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 8:30 pm

Ahh damn it all to hell – I just jinxed it.

  4. LaLa on January 15th, 2007 9:00 pm

    YES!!!! Hugh Laurie won!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!

Ok, I’m totally going to have to DVR the Globes tonight so I can see Hugh’s sure to be hilarious speech (because of course, ahem, I’ll be watching 24 like a good little re-capper…)

    GO HUGH!!!

  5. bitter_pill on January 15th, 2007 9:05 pm

Hugh’s speech was hilarious! How great is he that it was totally off the cuff? Funny guy, that Hugh Laurie.

  6. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 9:12 pm

I agree – that was a fantastic speech. The highlight of a kind of dowdy evening so far…

  7. Lauren on January 15th, 2007 9:23 pm

    ah…no steve carell? I don’t watch 30 Rock so I guess I don’t know, but COME ON!

  8. Clare on January 15th, 2007 9:26 pm

Alec Baldwin!!?? Are you kidding me??

  9. bitter_pill on January 15th, 2007 9:26 pm

Well, it wasn’t too suprising about Alec Baldwin – everyone was predicting the win. Ah, well.

It looks like they stuck all the NBC folk far, far right.

  10. Angelica on January 15th, 2007 9:30 pm

Crap and double crap for Steve!

  11. LaLa on January 15th, 2007 9:32 pm

Alec Baldwin?!?! Arrrrrggggghhhh… He’s amusing on 30 Rock, but no where NEAR as good as Steve Carell. Sigh. At least Steve won last year…

  12. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 9:33 pm

it’s not that i don’t like Ugly betty be WTF!!!!!!!!

  13. LaLa on January 15th, 2007 9:33 pm

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! UGLY BETTY WON OVER THE OFFICE?!?!?!? Stupid, stupid Globes!!!!

  14. Clare on January 15th, 2007 9:34 pm

Awwwww Man! Now I know you must be kidding? Betty? Really?

  15. LaLa on January 15th, 2007 9:34 pm

    Seriously, WTF!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Lauren (GeekCheek) on January 15th, 2007 9:35 pm

Yeah, Betty is cute and all, but nowhere near as good as The Office. Maybe the HFPA didn’t think that they could honor two shows with the same name?–i know it’s lame, I’m just trying to rationalize.

  17. Angelica on January 15th, 2007 9:35 pm

    Frik!

  18. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 9:35 pm

Steve and The Office were robbed! This is ridiculous.

  19. Clare on January 15th, 2007 9:36 pm

What clip did they show for The Office?

  20. Carrie on January 15th, 2007 9:36 pm

I am sad for the Office. 🙁

  21. mg714 on January 15th, 2007 9:36 pm

ah man, no steve carell AND no Office? I do like Ugly Betty, but nothing else on TV beats The Office. I realize that the Globes are chosen by this small group of like 16 people or something who generally just pick whatever has the most buzz at the time, so in reality it doesn’t mean that much, but it would have been nice. At least our Office-mates will always have last year’s Emmy!

  22. Melody on January 15th, 2007 9:36 pm

    Her? /Arrested Development

    Yeah, not okay, HFPA.

  23. Lauren on January 15th, 2007 9:38 pm

This is ABSURD. Please, someone who watches Ugly Betty explain to me how that just happened!

  24. Becky on January 15th, 2007 9:41 pm

What the flip? We didn’t even get to see all the cast dressed up!
This ticks ticks ticks me off. I’m mad now.
The Office should have won. Why why why.

  25. Kim on January 15th, 2007 9:41 pm

I still cannot believe that The Office did not win. The Golden Globes used to be fun to watch…not anymore!

  26. Wendy on January 15th, 2007 9:41 pm

Wow! I really like Ugly Betty but I am torn because I love The Office. I think the Hollywood Foreign Press really bases their picks on the hype of the moment and Betty was it this season. We all love The Office and I am the most loyal of fans believe me, but if we are being totally objective, this season has not been as brilliant as last season. It has to be really hard for Reveille’s Teri Weinberg and Ben Silverman since they make BOTH Ugly Betty and The Office. It’s like Sophie’s Choice for them tonight!! 🙁

  27. mg714 on January 15th, 2007 9:42 pm

I’m still hoping they’ll all get the SAG Award!

The Globes, esp. in terms of their TV choices, usually pick the hot new shows. I wouldn’t be surprised if America Ferrera wins over the other established actresses in the upcoming Best Comedy Actress category because of this and the fact that the show just won.

  28. Philiana on January 15th, 2007 9:42 pm

I love Ugly Betty. I think it’s the best NEW show on television right now but is it the best comedy? Not by a landslide. I really thought The Office had it in the bag. Actually, a lot of people picked The Office to take home the award. I’m very very very shocked that Ugly Betty pulled away with the win. Very shocked. I was hoping Steve would somehow get some of the momentum back from last year but unfortunately, the fact that 30 Rock (who watches that show by the way?) was new probably helped Alec Baldwin out a lot.

Sad night at the Globes. Not too thrilled with a lot of the winners although they did get at least one thing right when they gave Hugh Laurie the Globe for best actor in a drama series.

  29. mg714 on January 15th, 2007 9:43 pm

um okay – not Globes related, but did you all see that Office promo? I cannot wait to hear Jim’s answer!

  30. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 9:43 pm

I have no desire to even finish watching this farce. But I probably will. The Golden Globes have always been my favorite awards show, but this year not so much. And not just because my picks aren’t winning.

  31. Becky on January 15th, 2007 9:44 pm

Did everyone just see the commerical for this weeks Office?!!
    Does he still have feelings?

  32. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 9:44 pm

    OMG JAM PROMO…HOly shit!!!!!!!! Don’t lie…again, Jim.

  33. Lauren (GeekCheek) on January 15th, 2007 9:45 pm

I really think that UB had an advantage over the office in that they get a full 42 minutes every week to flesh out a storyline whereas the Office usually gets only 20. It’s much harder to do a half an hour than an hour–just ask Apatow. And holy crap, did you just see that promo for The Office!!!

  34. Kim on January 15th, 2007 9:45 pm

You guys beat me to commenting on the Office promo!
    I can’t wait!!!

  35. Wendy on January 15th, 2007 9:45 pm

I will say I LOVE 30 Rock now, I really do. And Alec is a genius on the show. But not sure his performance rivals that of Steve Carell’s and I say that objectively. But again, like many others have accurately pointed out, the Globes usually pick the hype of the moment and 30 Rock, more specifically Alec Baldwin on 30 Rock, had been getting lots of attention from critics this season. I am sad for Steve because I think he really deserved it, but I predicted this one unfortunately.

  36. Wendy on January 15th, 2007 9:47 pm

Wait! Someone has to tell me what the JAM promo was about!! Please!! God, I miss my East Coast feed!!

  37. Lauren (GeekCheek) on January 15th, 2007 9:47 pm

I love that we all just posted about that promo at the same time. It’s not even Feb sweeps yet!!

  38. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 9:47 pm

Wha?? What promo? What answer? Fill me in peeps – I’m getting the Canadian feed so I’m not seeing the NBC commercials.

  39. Susan M. on January 15th, 2007 9:47 pm

*sniffle* No Office wins AND I missed John and Jenna on the red carpet too. *pouts*

  40. Becky on January 15th, 2007 9:48 pm

Oscars coming back, and they are celebrating his mexican-something.
And Karen asks Jim if he still has feelings for Pam. I was too busy screaming to hear what they said. 🙂

  41. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 9:49 pm

    JAM PROMO..

    Oscar’s return..yada ydada

VO: The answer to the question you’ve all been waiting for:
Karen and Jim in the conf room
Karen: Do you still have feelings for her
jim looks down and doesn’t answer
    and scene

  42. bitter_pill on January 15th, 2007 9:50 pm

This just confirms how little true meaning the Globes hold (at least for TV).

  43. Lauren (GeekCheek) on January 15th, 2007 9:50 pm

They’re definitely on the Betty Bandwagon

  44. Wendy on January 15th, 2007 9:50 pm

    Thank you!!!

  45. eyegypt on January 15th, 2007 9:50 pm

Crap – of course i left the room during the one commercial break where they show a promo. I do love Ugly Betty though, I record and watch after 30Rock
Please give me more details on the promo

  46. eyegypt on January 15th, 2007 9:52 pm

Ben Silverman is having a good night. I’ve only seen one pic of John and Jenna. 🙁

  47. Susan M. on January 15th, 2007 9:55 pm

Man, it’s UB’s year, huh? Last year is was The Office, so I guess I can’t be TOO bitter. Oh, hell, I’m totally bitter. 😛

BTW – I LOVE how in the earlier promos they mentioned Jam and Dwangela. The Jurk thing was hilarious. Nice shout-out to the fans.

  48. Jo on January 15th, 2007 9:58 pm

Okay have we seen the office cast at all?! i missed the preshow coverage. aside from Steve, i’ve spotted Rain twice..and Jenna once over Tina Fey’s shoulder! sad!

  49. Clare on January 15th, 2007 10:00 pm

GMMR, big meaningful pause, or a glance down and cut?

  50. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:00 pm

E! red carpet coverage showed Rainn and Steve. TVGuide channel had a supposedly ADORBS interview with Jenna and John. No shots of the cast during the globes.

  51. LaLa on January 15th, 2007 10:03 pm

Ack! JAM promo!!! Thanks for the heads up, I’ll definitely have to watch for that – and here’s hoping Jim doesn’t lie again!

In other news, really glad to hear that The Painted Veil won for Best Score. That was an excellent film (my favorite of last year, actually) that is getting almost totally ignored awards wise. So a Golden Globe win is really easy, free publicity to get Warner Independant off their butts and start promoting the damn movie, sheesh!

Ehem. Excuse me… back to watching the arrivals in hopes of seeing Jenna and John.

  52. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:03 pm

OMG I am crying, and so is everyone in the audience…I LOVE YOU AMERICA FERRARA!!

  53. Jo on January 15th, 2007 10:04 pm

hey what’s the little blue puzzle piece steve and john are wearing?

  54. eyegypt on January 15th, 2007 10:04 pm

hope someone youtubes the TV Guide interview. hint, hint

  55. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:06 pm

    It’s for Autism

  56. Susan M. on January 15th, 2007 10:06 pm

    From the LiveJournal Office community:

NICE pics of the cast on the red carpet

  57. Mandy on January 15th, 2007 10:08 pm

It’s to help bring awareness to Autism.
    http://www.autismspeaks.org/

  58. carly on January 15th, 2007 10:13 pm

i have a feeling that blue puzzle piece is for “autism speaks”

  59. Jo on January 15th, 2007 10:13 pm

    oh that’s awesome. thanks.

i’m sure the TV guide vid will be up on their website in the morning.

  60. carly on January 15th, 2007 10:14 pm

whoops sorry- the previous posts weren’t there when i responded ha

  61. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 10:14 pm

America’s speech was definitely moving, but I’m still bitter about the Ugly Betty win.

  62. Lauren (GeekCheek) on January 15th, 2007 10:18 pm

America’s speech was great, I just wish that she could have done it without the sobs.

    And I love Warren Beatty.

  63. Psappy on January 15th, 2007 10:19 pm

Sorry, late to the game….so WTF?? Ugly Betty over The Office? I mean, yeah, UB is great, but nothing and I mean NOTHING can beat last season’s The Office. This is a shame. I understand why Steve lost to Alec Baldwin, (the Globes tend to give newcomers the awards, ie. Kerrie Russel, Jennifer Garner, Claire Danes) but the show??? the show???

But…..at least the promo was all kinds of awesome. I squeeled like a pig. Seriously. This week’s episode is going to be amazing. Please don’t say no, please don’t say no. Jim it’s time to end this charade!!!

  64. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:20 pm

Warren….I wasn’t sure if he made any sense. I know they are just people, but I always wonder how such artistic people can be such poor speakers.

  65. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:21 pm

Yeah, i will freak if Jim brushes Karen off again. I really don’t think he will though. I think this is a HUGE week.

  66. bitter_pill on January 15th, 2007 10:23 pm

What categories are left? Is the show going to come in on time?

  67. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 10:23 pm

Well, here’s how I see it. I don’t think he can lie about it two weeks in a row – if that were the case I don’t think the writers would have it come up again so soon. Here’s hoping…

Of course I haven’t seen the promo, so who knows lol.

    Go Little Miss Sunshine go!

  68. Colette on January 15th, 2007 10:23 pm

The little blue puzzle piece is for Autism Speaks – John says something about supporting them in the part of the interview with Melissa Rivers I caught…before she started asking Jenna about her dress (vintage) and John got all cute and joked around about Jenna making him turn around and model his outfit on the set everyday too (or something like that.)

  69. Tiff on January 15th, 2007 10:23 pm

    Here are my comments:

Jenna = hot. Cannot believe the dress!
I am in love with JKras.
    I can’t believe I missed Hugh Laurie!
    America – great speech.
Warren Beatty – that was nice, at the end.
Can’t believe Betty won over the Office!

  70. shannanagin on January 15th, 2007 10:23 pm

Ugly Betty? Alec Baldwin? Ugghhh…. now I don’t even feel like watching the Golden Globes when they air here.

But I really hope someone posts the promo on YouTube soon.

    Don’t lie Jim! Not again!

  71. Tiff on January 15th, 2007 10:25 pm

Ok, now I have to say I can’t believe Scorsese won for a remake of an HK film–sigh.

  72. Clare on January 15th, 2007 10:25 pm

OK I’ve got one eye on 24. HOLY Crap!!! Anyone else just catch that? Bauer, you nasty mofo!!!

  73. eyegypt on January 15th, 2007 10:25 pm

Splendor in the Grass is one of my favorite movies.

  74. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 10:27 pm

Jenna looks fabulous in those photos – the hair, the makeup, the dress, the earrings, the shoes – stunning!

And of course the fraction of John that is showing in one of the pics looks great too 🙂

  75. eyegypt on January 15th, 2007 10:28 pm

Third deleted scene added from TS:
    http://video.nbc.com/player.html?dlid=55480

  76. bitter_pill on January 15th, 2007 10:28 pm

I usually have seen at least half the nominated films, but this year… nope. Hardly any at all.

As far as the promo, I don’t think we’re going to get too much more than what that one scene of Jim and Karen regarding.

  77. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 10:28 pm

Holy crap – when did Reese Witherspoon turn anorexic?!

  78. Tiff on January 15th, 2007 10:28 pm

    Yay! Borat!

  79. Clare on January 15th, 2007 10:29 pm

Good point Foggy! What would be the point two weeks in a row? 🙂 ——- HOLY CRAP what a shocking 24!!! WOW

  80. eyegypt on January 15th, 2007 10:30 pm

    Reese is channeling Paris Hilton

  81. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:30 pm

Careful with the “24” spoilers “)

  82. Tiff on January 15th, 2007 10:34 pm

Has someone posted the promo that I totally MISSED yet?! I can’t believe Karen’s going to ask Jim!

  83. Lauren (GeekCheek) on January 15th, 2007 10:34 pm

GMMR: “Warren….I wasn’t sure if he made any sense. I know they are just people, but I always wonder how such artistic people can be such poor speakers.”

It’s called freely flowing Moet. Gets ’em every time.

  84. Psappy on January 15th, 2007 10:35 pm

I bow down to the comedy genious that is Sasha Baron Cohen….He is the master.

  85. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:36 pm

    Sooooo funny!!!

  86. Jo on January 15th, 2007 10:37 pm

In Jim’s defense, my sister argues that perhaps he’s lying to himself in order to deal with being around her again. if you want another tiny piece of the JAM puzzle, read the blurb about the feb 1 ep…it’s not that spoilerish. nothing the NBC promo won’t give away.

  87. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 10:38 pm

Okay, I’m officially throwing up now. Not that I have anything against Dreamgirls – I’m sure it’s great. But Little Miss Sunshine was fanfreakintastic!

  88. eyegypt on January 15th, 2007 10:38 pm

    What blurb? Where?

  89. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:39 pm

true but the Feb 1st “Co**********” sounds negative, but i think it’s a trick. I think it will be positive

  90. Psappy on January 15th, 2007 10:41 pm

Me too, GMMR. I think it’s not going to be negative at all. She is just going to try and coax the truth out of her.

BTW, where is TwoP when you need it, huh! We would have filled 10 pages with that spoilerific promo!

As for DreamGirls I knew it would win.

  91. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:42 pm

Psappy, are you still locked out of the GMMR forums?

  92. Psappy on January 15th, 2007 10:44 pm

yep. I don’t know why. I’ve tried to register twice!!!

YEAH GREY’S. THERE IS SOME JUSTICE!

GMMR, I’ll try to register again with another email account.

  93. Post-it Thief on January 15th, 2007 10:44 pm

Well, I just saw the promo for next week’s Office. That makes me feel slightly better, but not much.

  94. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 10:45 pm

Okay, now Courtney Cox-Arquette looks like she wants to throw up.

But yay! Finally something I liked won.

  95. Tiff on January 15th, 2007 10:46 pm

Yay, Helen Mirren! She totally could not lose either of her categories…really, she shone like crazy.

  96. eyegypt on January 15th, 2007 10:47 pm

    See – I can’t stand Grey’s

  97. Psappy on January 15th, 2007 10:47 pm

GMMR, I finally got to register, just waiting for your approval 😉 under Psappys

  98. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:48 pm

I just saw THE QUEEN on the plane last week and she was awesome. I thought the movie was really great too!!

  99. Self-Employed World's Best Boss on January 15th, 2007 10:50 pm

I’m really sorry; I’ve tried to watch Ugly Betty 3 different times, and have yet to end up making it all the way through the show. I know the girl in it is supposed to be great and all, but it’s just not that well written as far as I can tell. I have also tried to watch 30 Rock – hard to get into and Alec Baldwin is more annoying than anything. The Office is a show that you can watch episodes multiple times, find it funnier and funnier, and find intricate little details that you missed the first 6 times you watched. Steve Carell is such a multi-dimensional actor; he brings depth to a character that no one else could pull off. The people who decide who wins GG must be the same ones who choose the Oscar winners…people who have never watched any of the things they vote on.

  100. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:52 pm

Well I must say that although I think The Office was ROBBED, I do really, really like Ugly Betty. But I think it’s much better in the drama than the comedy.

  101. Lauren on January 15th, 2007 10:52 pm

Ok Borat winning combined with Greys almost (key word ALMOST) makes me forget the Office disappointment!

  102. Psappy on January 15th, 2007 10:52 pm

Thanks for the quick activation GMMR!

  103. Tiff on January 15th, 2007 10:55 pm

GMMR, this is my first time live blogging with you (and everyone else), and I love it. Will have to start coming to the Office chats.

P.S. Forest Whitaker is boring. He’s a great actor, but this is BORING.

  104. Linds20 on January 15th, 2007 10:57 pm

Okay, speaking as someone who caught the TV Guide Channel interview with John and Jenna, you didn’t miss much. They kept refusing to zoom in on the people they were actually interviewing, and instead focused in on people nearby. I was screaming “zoom in!!!” And John’s hair looked great, and he asked Jenna to do a little spin. Then Melissa Rivers said “aw, he’s proud!” and he looked down and I can’t be sure because they wouldn’t zoom in, but he looked like he was blushing.

Oh, and Melissa Rivers was saying how AGAIN Steve Carell is up for an award, and doesn’t it ever get old? And John just said no, like we knew he would. But it was very brief. Jenna’s dress looked great.

Thanks for the recap, now I won’t even bother to watch. Can you all tell me during which commercial break they show the Office promo?

  105. GMMR on January 15th, 2007 10:58 pm

The Office promo aired at 9:44pm EST

GMMR, I agree that Ugly Betty is thoroughly entertaining but it is not at the caliber of The Office. It’s like Best Picture in a Comedy. Although Little Miss Sunshine had it’s bright moments, it doesn’t compare to the comedy element of Borat.

I still believe some people just don’t “get” Office humor. I mean it didn’t even get nominated last year. Well, maybe because there was only 6 episodes, but still.

I’m in Canada, someone has to post this promo on YouTube!

  108. Tiff on January 15th, 2007 11:02 pm

    Ugh, Babel. Well, whatever.

Alright, now I’m going to bed, in a bit of a sour mood that I missed my fix of Office peeps…but thanks, GMMR for hosting this!

This is a late comment, but why in the world did they ask Dane Cook to the Golden Globes? I was def. saying WTF? when I saw him on E!’s pre-show!

  110. bitter_pill on January 15th, 2007 11:04 pm

Is it worth watching the post-show stuff? The Office folks won’t be interviewed, right?

  111. eyegypt on January 15th, 2007 11:06 pm

Yes, thanks GMMR for hosting. See you over at TWOP when its back up

  112. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 15th, 2007 11:06 pm

Yeah thanks for live blogging GMMR – this was fun.

“and he looked down and I can’t be sure because they wouldn’t zoom in, but he looked like he was blushing.”

I second that. It was totally adorkable. And how annoying was Melissa Rivers–and she knew who Jenna was but not John!!

Usually I fall asleep during these things and miss something that I wanted to see. I managed to stay awake and there was nothing at the end that I would have missed. Ah well.

Once again, thanks Kath for giving us the ability to commiserate together.

Okay, so my favorite show and my favorite comedy actor got stiffed at the GGs. I’m sitting up watching the E! post-show while I’m dealing with e-mails and stuff that I put off to watch the show.

Yay! I’m rewarded with John and Jenna being interviewed by Kristen. Sorta. First, they both looked incredible. Jenna’s dress? Amazing. John doing that John thing (ladies, you know what I’m talking ’bout.) John takes the microphone from Kristen and makes with the funny right away, asking in a very silly voice “Who are wearing?” etc. John answering for Jenna, “Vintage. You know how I know? Stalker.” They all dissolve into giggles while I was dying of the cute – RIGHT before they cut them off to go to Eddie Murphy. Aaaaaggghhh…

“I second that. It was totally adorkable. And how annoying was Melissa Rivers–and she knew who Jenna was but not John!!”

No kidding. And she reached over and messed with his Autism Speaks pin. I’m sorry, if you don’t know his name, Melissa, you don’t get to touch him. Scratch that, just don’t ever touch him.

  116. Linds20 on January 16th, 2007 12:10 am

What? When did Kristen interview them??? How did I miss that?

  117. Susan M. on January 16th, 2007 12:37 am

I’m watching the post-show and Kristen was talking to some people as they were leaving to go to the various parties. I’d say that John and Jenna were on around 11:40 PMish (EST)

  118. Leigh Ann on January 16th, 2007 1:11 am

They are re-playing the post-show right now, so it should be on in an hour or so…

John also asked Jenna about her earrings. Too bad they cut him off for that icky Guiliana and Eddie Murphy.

  119. Linds20 on January 16th, 2007 1:18 am

Did I read somewhere up at the beginning of these comments that some hussies sent some shoutouts via text messages? Was that true? What did they say?

The only good thing that came out of the Golden Globes in my opinion: Hugh Laurie’s win (i would have been happy if Sutherland won, also). I mean, there were some other okay moments. Otherwise, these GG’s sucked so much ass. No Office love, no Carell love, no 24 love, and no Little Miss Sunshine love (even Thank You For Smoking got shafted). Really disappointed w/ this one.

Thank God i was watching 24 while the Golden Globes were on or i would have lost my mind.

warren beatty is one of the greatest actors who has ever walked on this earth, i think he can take as much time as he wants! 🙂 as for the awards in general, an absolute huge disappointment. out of every single award given out on national tv, only mr. scorsese, mr. irons and mr. cohen were the kids that won who i actually wanted! it’s like the HFPA wants EVERYONE to win a golden globe. different people win every year! i mean how is it that carrell and the show itself, and sutherland and his show both win at the emmys and lose in every category here at the globes?! i’ve lost all respect for these award shows.

had to add my 2 cents.

I LOVE ALEC BALDWIN. even though i love the office of course, Alec’s comedic talent and timing is off the hook. yes steve carrell is a comedic God, but Alec would be the comedic God no one expected to be so funny. If you’re not watching 30 Rock, get on it!

    -Cindy (I swear i don’t work for 30 Rock!)

  123. Mel aka foggymoontour on January 16th, 2007 4:42 pm

I watch 30 Rock and I definitely enjoy Alec Baldwin in that role, but to me he just isn’t of the same comedic calibre of Steve Carell. IMHO anyway 🙂
