According to a recent poll conducted by Sony, more women would rather watch Peyton Manning, QB of the Indianapolis Dolts Colts on high-def television than Tom “2 Time Superbowl MVP and QB of my heart” Brady. What?
Now, I see the appeal of Peyton Manning. He’s adorable in those Visa ads. But Peyton over Tommy in the looks department? Yeah, those Visa ads aren’t THAT cute. Tom Brady is hot as hell. Just ask recent ex Bridget Moynahan (Six Degrees) or current rumored paramour Gisele Bundchen. Yes, as in the supermodel.
Twenty bucks says that this poll was conducted in Indy, right?

Peyton looks like the kind of guy I’d hang out with. Not to be mean, but Tom looks like the hot jerk that I’d want to deck. So I’d much rather see Peyton. And no, I’m not in Indy.
Brady was my fantasy QB this year and he did rather nicely for my team, I thought. Also…at least Brady can WIN A BIG GAME, unlike Manning, who hasn’t quite mastered that skill yet. Also, Brady can win at being hot.

The only thing Tom Brady can’t win at is singing and stuff. I’m sure you all saw SNL. But there’s yet to be proof that Peyton Manning can sing, so the only thing I have here to go on is looks, and… Tom Brady. Because even when he’s singing badly, he looks good.
Def. agree that Tom is way hot, but I do think Peyton is a cutie.

i don’t see how anyone could pick peyton manning over tom brady. ew, i don’t think he’s the least bit attractive. maybe i’m just a biased new englander. and maybe i just hate the colts with a passion! hahah either way, sunday will be intense. LET’S GO PATS!
I’m an Indy gal, and I must represent; Go Colts! That said, I’m not blind. That poll was definitely not conducted in Indy as I and most of my friends will agree that Peyton is actually quite homely. Even when New England was routing us in the playoffs in years past, at least we all agreed to revel in Brady’s hotness on screen. If you ask 10 women in Indy to name the hotest QB in NFL, I guarantee Brady gets more votes than Peyton.
OK, let me weigh in as an objective and decidedly straight guy from Tennessee. Tom Brady is a better-looking dude than Peyton, and just based on performance, I’d have to say he’s a better player as well. Peyton has the stats and records, but unfortunately, he doesn’t have the most important thing the RESULTS (*cough* ring(s) *cough*).
I might be a transplant new england girl (and I already love my Red Sox) but I love Peyton Manning. He just seems so nice. I can’t find it in Brady. Plus, he has the whole wholesome, next door neighbor, helps old ladies cross the road thing going on for him. yum. (however, I do think Brady is hot, I’d still have to pick PM!)
Come on, we are being such “chicks” right now. Answer the question like a man. Who would you rather see close up in HDTV. We aren’t talking about who would care for your ailing mother, or nurse a sick puppy back to health. It’s the HOTNESS of it all!!!

Ha! Just when I thought I couldn’t love GMMR any more, you go and post this. I had the very same thoughts when I saw the results of that poll. I think they talked to women who don’t actually watch sports and they picked Manning because his stupid face is in every commercial on TV.
