The Beek is Back on Criminal Minds (TONIGHT) - Give Me My Remote : Give Me My Remote

The Beek is Back on Criminal Minds (TONIGHT)

February 4, 2007 by

James van der BeekI guess Dawson hit a rough patch after Joey finally chose Pacey, because the boy has been MIA for quite some time. Last time we saw him he was taking a lunch with Spielberg and then poof! he disappeared.

But Dawson has resurfaced. James van der Beek, who unfortunately for him will ALWAYS be known as Dawson Leery is back on TV tonight in the post-Superbowl episode of Criminal Minds. From what I understand The Beek will play a seriel killer, or at least a guy they want us to believe is the serial killer. Either way…I’m in.

I’ve never seen an episode of Criminal Minds, but any show that has the foresight to hire a Creeker as guest star has got to be worth watching. Here’s what I got from CBS regarding tonight episode:

“The Big Game” (airs after the Superbowl on CBS)

The BAU team is called in to investigate when a wealthy couple is murdered in their home following a Super Bowl party. ,

Hotchner and the BAU team fear they are facing a mission-based serial killer, or multiple killers, when a 911 phone call quoting bible passages from Revelations is placed by someone in the house just seconds before the murders occur. As the team begins their profile, Garcia discovers that the tech-savvy unsub (unknown subject) sent out a video of the murders over the Internet just hours after they were committed, which is viewed by millions of users. Meanwhile, Hotchner, Morgan and Prentiss must determine how many people are actually responsible for the murders since different voices can be heard on the 911 recording and on the video.

    Hey Kath,

big fan…long time lurker but thanks for all that you do!

I read your post tonight and had to tune in because Dawson’s Creek was equivalent to my Office addiction way back when! (that’s an embarrasing statement)

Did you catch that Andie is on Criminal Minds as well? I’m halfway through the episode and hoping that Andie and Dawson share a scene in the ep tonight! 🙂

This is the first time I’ve watched Criminal Minds. All I can say is wow how very predicable. I’m shocked this is a hit show. I knew Dawson had a split personality from the 911 call in the very beginning. Oh and The Beek has not improved on his southern accent. I was waiting for him to scream out…”I DON’T WANT YOUR LIFE!”

The kid doesn’t seem to be aging! I didn’t see this show but judging from the other comments, maybe I didn’t miss too much?

By the way, Chloe O’Brian from “24” has an advice column, you’re gonna get a kick out of this:

Mandy, I totally agree. I couldn’t believe they waited an hour for the “big reveal” that he was one person — I could tell from the very first 911 call as well! What a waste of an hour. I will not be tuning in for the second half of the episode, Dawson or no Dawson.

Oh, and picturing the Beek screaming “I don’t want your life” is always, always funny. Hee.

Waitaminit…you’re supposed to be some kind of guru when it comes to TV and you HAVEN’T WATCHED AN EPISODE OF CRIMINAL MINDS? This show is intelligent, entertaining, and miles ahead of most of the dreck on TV these days. I hope you learned something here, or maybe I’ll just snatch YOUR remote and show you some real TV.
