The O.C.

Fellow fans of The O.C.. The final days are drawing near. Our beloved show is coming to a close this Thursday. I didn’t expect to be so affected by it, but I am. I’m going to miss the crazy Cooper/Cohen clans and all their friends.

GMMR is planning on seeing The O.C. off in style on Thursday with a day dedicated to all things Newport. The day will be  a walk down memory lane from favorite quotes to best scenes and more. We are also going to have a chance to win prizes via the ultimate O.C. trivia contest. Even if you haven’t watched the show in years you won’t want to miss it.

Here’s where you come in. If you have any special thoughts or memories you want to share about The O.C., click here to email me. Do you have a favorite scene? Best Seth/Summer moment? Anything…we want to hear from you. Be included in our special GMMR event. And the GMMR readers won’t be the only ones sharing their 2 cents on all things The O.C. GMMR got the goods directly from the show creator Josh Schwartz…stuff you are only going to find on GMMR.

So make sure you get in on the special GMMR/O.C. event this Thursday.

I’m going to miss this show, too. I didn’t watch the majority of last season cause it was just too much with the drama. Marissa seriously irked me. And then I only jumped back on this season because of this site, and I have really enjoyed this season.

I’m super excited for your Thursday dedicated to The OC (just please don’t forget The Office because I live for that post 🙂

Yes, please don’t let this affect Office Thursdays

Don’t worry…we will still have Office Thursdays. But guys, as sad as it is to type, one day The Office will go off the air. If I don’t get more people coming to GMMR for more than The Office, I’m not sure we are going to last that long 🙁

I’m really looking forward to checking out GMMR on thursday… hopefully that will provide me with a little more closure on the event. While some of the story lines irked me, The OC was always like comfort food and I have really enjoyed the past 4 seasons. I’m gonna be cryin’ like a baby!

And while The Office is my favorite show, as a TV addict, I check out GMMR for other shows as well, so you’ve got one viewer who will be coming back for more long after The Office wraps (SOB!).

Thank you for dedicating a page to the OC. It was a great show that left a huge impact, even if it wasn’t all perfect. It will be sadly sadly missed. FOX really killed it.

Thanks so much for dedicating a whole day to The O.C.! This show has been in my life since I was 15 and I can’t believe it’s ending! Not being able to see the hotness of Ben McKenzie is enough to make me sad, but add no more Seth humor and zaniness and the cuteness of Sandy and Kirsten… I’m getting veclemped just thinking about it! Haha. Oh, how I will miss you O.C.

It seems like just yesterday The OC was first airing and I said, “Meh, that show won’t be popular.”

I’m wrong every once in a while. 😉

I come here for TONS more than The Office, gmmr! Don’t lose hope!
