Totally Dawesome

March 16, 2007 by

I’ve seen “Traveling Salesman” too many times to count, but for some reason I completely lost it while watching this scene. I can’t stop watching it.

So were the “newpeats” a success? I personally liked the new scenes added. I’m of the mindset that every scene added was added for a very specific reason. There’s a lot of deleted scenes for every episode so definite thought went into which ones were chosen to be included in the newpeats. So that high five? Yeah, I think it will be important. I hope it will be important. For the love of God it better be important.

Sidenote: The newpeats are over and now it’s on to Grey’s, and Ugly Betty. It’s already past 1am here so it’s going to be a looooong night.

The newpeats were dawesome. I too think it’s telling that they added that cute Jim and Pam scene back in. Without saying much, the whole Karen jealousy think fits in nicely with stuff I’ve heard.

I had watched both “Traveling Salesmen” and “The Return” in the past week, and yet, I found myself laughing harder and more gleefully during the newpeats than I had when I watched the episodes earlier this week. They really did feel shiny and special and new(-ish).

GMMR – I totally agree – please let those scenes be important!

loved the newpeats…fun to watch to see what was new and what was left out!! And thank goodness for some Jam. I really needed that Jam moment. But – not only does it give us more info on Jam, it also reinforced a little bit more of Karen…that little bit of jealousy and insecurity…like they showed us in the deleted scenes of her trying to rip down the art flyer. Please let THAT lead to something. 🙂

I am such a sucker for those JAM moments! I was supposed to meet with my basketball team for dinner and I cancelled because the dinner was at 7pm. Yikes, am I lame for cancelling for a repeat? Wait, it was a newpeat so I’m not that lame, right?

I loved the newpeats…especially the JAM high five scene. They are so ridiculously adorable. I agree that it better be important!

GMMR – I TOTALLY agree with this statement you made:

” I’m of the mindset that every scene added was added for a very specific reason. There’s a lot of deleted scenes for every episode so definite thought went into which ones were chosen to be included in the newpeats. So that high five? Yeah, I think it will be important. I hope it will be important. For the love of God it better be important ”

Also, CrazyGringa, if you’re crazy for cancelling your plans then I’m just as crazy for literally being nervous all day yesterday because I so afraid that all of the JAM stuff would be edited out (i.e Phyllis’s comments, Karen’s talk with Jim, the “Yes” heard ’round the world). I was so nervous that I did not watch the show until after it was over and I could go straight to the end and see if the “Yes” was still there. When it was, I felt like I could finally breath normally again.

Pathetic, I know. I’m just a huge JAM fan and I soooo want something positive to happen. Last night, we all got exactly that. How beautiful and “awwww” worthy was Jim’s reaction to Pam? Totally Season 2 Jim there.

Just remember, this show doesn’t do anything insignificant so the fact that they added that in is HUGE!!

I screamed when Karen interupted Jim and Pam lastnight. I wanted to rip her head off. That scene was adorable though. I miss them 🙁

Let me just say that I love when Angela and Jenna do scenes together because we all know how they’re best friends in real life. I just read Jenna’s blog about the newpeat & she said she had so much fun with the Angela/Pam scene and kept on breaking.

That scene with Jim and Pam was so awesome also. I love how genuine Jim’s “congratulation” was to Pam.
