SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Premiere Dates Set

It’s time to get your dance on people. That is if you think can dance…so do you? I know I can’t, but that’s why I like watching others do it on TV. Last year I became a tad bit obsessed with SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (ok I even went to the post-show tour). But seriously, it’s a fun show. I think you should give it a shot this season – we can watch it together. It will be fun!
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE will premiere with an 85-minute special on Thursday, May 24 at 8:00/7:00c before settling into its regular time periods (Wednesdays at 8pm with the results show airing on Thursdays at 9pm). I’m not sure if this year’s contestants can ever replace Jailbait Ivan, BF Travis, Benji, Cousin Heidi and the rest of last year’s cast, but I’m willing to give them a try. And even if the dancers suck, we always have Cat Deely. I love Cat Deely.

yay!!! i’ve loved this show since season 1 (i still love season1 winner nick and runner up melanie but i admit the season 2 cast was funner, closer, and cooler).

How sad is it that I’ve been waiting for this show to return since about October of last year? And I’m with ya; I just can’t fathom right now that S3 contestants will ever live up to the addiction the way S2 did.
Oh MA Gawd. If ya’ll haven’t seen season one you REALLY missed out. It was stronger in many ways. I’ve got some clips up on my blog (http://tvinthewoods.blogspot.com/2007/05/you-say-you-want-revolution.html) but there’re lots floating around the tubes. Worth digging for. Lots of great Shane Sparks pieces. Mia Michaels gems. Oh I am SO frakkin’ excited!
I’ve been looking forward to this all year! I think that’s the show that got me started reading your blog! (though now the Office, House and Lost recaps and news have sucked me in for good :o)

This show is the most fun you can have on television. I’m into dancing for recreation so this show caught my eye in Season 1 and I’ve been hooked ever since. I can’t wait to see what kind of talent the new season will bring.
