FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS Renewed!!!

May 10, 2007 by

YIPEE!!!  This by far the most incredible news to come out of next week’s Upfronts.  According to Kristin Veitch (who is on fire today), the cast of the BEST drama on television, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS just got word that they got picked up for a second season of the show.  I couldn’t be more excited.  Now if you haven’t seen the show, I beg of you to catch all the episode online for FREE at NBC.com.  You won’t be disappointed…I promise you.

So the Dillon Panthers will live to play again!!  Oh happy day!!

(By the way, this is one of those times I am really glad I don’t have a video blog, because me dancing around my apartment should not be seen by others).

I mean sit down, der. But for reals, I think I’m gonna break an ankle what with the jumping and the clapping and generally acting like a giant doofus. Hee hee, I’m so happy!

When I read the book “Friday Night Lights” I was so taken in by the story that I didn’t stop reading even as the bagel in the toaster oven started to burn and filled the kitchen with smoke. I saw the film “Friday Night Lights” and wanted to cry it was so bad. So I was hesitant to watch the TV show. I caught about half of one episode and I think the TV show must be a heckuva lot more faithful to the book than the movie was. So I am going to start watching old episodes. It must be good, with all the happiness here about its renewal!
