Summer is a tough time for TV bloggers. Although we are still posting as much (and perhaps even more than usual), not as many of you are stopping by and commenting. Seems everyone is taking a TV break during the summer months. If you’re not one to rest then check out some of GMMR’s blogging friends and show them the love.

Here’s a FANTASTIC interview with THE OFFICE creator, Greg Daniels. It really offers you insight into the show’s development and some of the characters. A must read for Office fans. (Dead Things on Sticks)

Want spoilers for tonight’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE? Ducky has the scoop on which couples got which routines on tonight’s (no so live) show. (DuckyxDale)

For those of you who love classic TV but have no attention span then MySpace is going to hook you up with minisodes. Watch oldies but goodies like ‘Silver Spoons’ and ‘The Facts of Life’ in 3-5 minute minisodes. Really, this is necessary (BuzzSugar)

Jasmyne Cannick, a gay activist, has started a petition to bring Isaiah Washington back to GREY’S ANATOMY claiming that Isaiah’s dismissal was a form of racism. Really? The most racially diverse show on TV today are racists? (dListed)

Hilary and Bill Clinton are up on pop culture. Check out their spoof of THE SOPRANOS finale. Seeing that it’s Bill and Hilary, it’s actually pretty funny (TV with MeeVee)

Yesterday came news of the bobbleheads and the dundies. Today we get word that a new THE OFFICE video game is being released. Players have to handle jobs and play pranks at Dunder Mifflin, and bonus points for each minute of the game you can keep Jim and Pam apart despite their red hot lust for each other (ok kidding on the last part). Finally a video game where I can kick a little ass. Do you think if we win we are rewarded with a Casino Night smooch? (Seat42f)

It’s hard to say goodbye to GILMORE GIRLS, but every great departing show deserves a good eulogy. (The TV Addict)

Last week we found out what Fall shows some TV bloggers were most interested in seeing. Now find out which Fall falls some of us are dreading. Read on to find out what bloggers don’t want to see. (MeeVee)

From VERONICA MARS demise to Coral’s coming out party, Pajiba’s Trade Round-Up in a must read. (Pajiba)

This one is a little bit of a stretch in terms of TV news, but I’ll try. Katie Homes was once of THE CREEK. Now she’s married to Tom Cruise, a man whom I find more and more creepy each day. That being said, these pics of Cruise and their daughter Suri are precious. Suri started off adorable (although she was airbrushed in her early pics so we don’t really know), then she got a little creep looking, but she’s back to being cute again. So yeah, a one degree seperation from The Creek makes this TV news, right? (Seriously? OMG! WTF?!)

I am glad they are making The Office game for PC’s. I don’t have the high tech game systems and I’d hate to have to buy one for The Office game.

Also, I was watching the first season of Dawson’s Creek last night and I had to rewind a little bit. Did you know Rob Thomas wrote for Dawson’s Creek? He at least wrote the third episode from season one. I thought it was neat, and maybe it was mentioned before, but I have a short attention span lately.

Thanks for the link to that interview with Greg Daniels. Can’t wait to read the 2nd part. I’m glad to hear that Craig Robinson and Creed Bratton will be regulars next season (along with Ed Helms).

Tom Cruise isn’t a freak like the media want you to think
    think for yourself

WORLDS COLLIDING …. The Office video game sounds pretty amazing

The Office video game will give me a good reason to confiscate my son’s PSP. Maybe I’ll just download it onto our home computer. MumboJumbo makes a lot of games for Real Arcade for which we have a subscription and get one free game a month. I hope they make it available, I’m getting pretty sick of Zuma.

I can’t wait for SYTYCD tonight. You have to give even more props to these amazing dancers. I thought the show was Live on Wed. If they’re actually taping on Monday that means that they only have Friday – Sunday to learn and work on their routines before performing. If it’s a genre they aren’t familiar with, that’s not a very long time to learn and perfect a performance.

Since you brought up my little celebrity baby namesake, I feel I must comment on the Cruise photos. I don’t know who Suri will take after in the personality dept., but in that second picture she looks EXACTLY like her mother. I think that’s the first picture I’ve seen of her where you can tell just by looks who (at least one of) her parents are. As strange as I think TomKat is, I have to thank them for putting my name on the map. When I used to tell people my name is Suri, they would say, “That’s an interesting name, is it French?”, now they just say, “Oh, like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ baby.” and I just tell them that they are close personal friends and they named the baby after me. Some people actually believe this. They must be the same people that believe that Kelly Kapor is Bridget Jones and that Kevin is Australian mate.

Credit cards are a part of my life and I use them for every purchase I make. I’ve been especially concerned about cash back credit cards and I managed to make good sums with them. Now I’m seriously thinking of moving onto airline miles credit cards and earn free airline tickets. A great variety of such type credit cards can be found at
