THE OFFICE Thursday on Give Me My Remote

June 28, 2007 by

A little OFFICE Thursday to keep us happy today. If you have any suggestions for next week’s installment (trivia, games, contests, etc), leave a comment and let me know. I am so looking forward to watching my Dunder Mifflinites tonight.

The OfficeOffice Olympics, Booze Cruise and The Secret
Tonight we’ve got another OFFICE marathon, and this time we get to see three of the best episodes of S2. So excited!! Tonight’s episodes are hosted by John Krasinski with a little help from his OFFICE and LICENSE TO WED co-stars Angela Kinsey and Brian Baumgartner. Mindy Kaling also stars in the movie and I wish she were hosting tonight as well because I love me some Kelly Kapoor.

The Big Winners…
So it’s OFFICE Thursday. What to do, what to do. First let me say that I was SO impressed with how many of you got the correct answers to last week’s mini-Office Olympics. Some of those questions were tough. I listed all the names of the winners in a hat and Heather B of San Diego, CA was the big winner. Heather chose a Flonkerton hoodie from the GMMR store. And in other contest news, I am happy to announce that Laura R. was are big winner in the GMMR/Steve Almighty giveaway. Laura will receive S1 & S2 of THE OFFICE on DVD as well as The 40 Year-Old Virgin.

Summer Fun Word Find…
No big prize for this week’s game, but you will get a virtual pat on the back for a job well done. There are 20 “Office-related” words or phrases hidden below. All the words are in a straight line, but the direction is up for grabs. If you need any help leave a comment and I’ll give you a hint.

Good Luck John, Angela, Brian & Mindy (and Ken)…
John Krasinski Tuesday is the premiere of LICENSE TO WED. I know I’ll be going to see if here on opening day. I hope you will too. The movie stars John Krasinski but features a lot of familiar faces from Dunder Mifflin. Speaking of familiar faces, see if you can find John’s parents in the movie – yup, they are there. And John, if you are home and want to see the movie with us here in Newton just give me a ring 😉 Good luck!!

Video of the Week…
There are actually two videos this week, because sometimes you can’t just choose one.

Man, Office news has slowed to a crawl after last week being so busy. Office Thursdays remind us of what’s important.

But I never knew mosby was British.

Thanks for keeping up Office Thursdays. I really am missing the show. It will be fun to see the season two episodes again tonight! I wonder if John, Angela and Brian are hosting the marathon as themselves or in character?

GMMR! I love the videos of the week, but I had a different one in mind…

Tanster listed this on Officetally earlier today, and it’s one of the best videos I’ve ever seen! Link included just in case no one has seen it yet. (Oh, did I mention it’s fabulous?)

Dude, I totally want a John Krasinski cutout.

I’ve found 16 words so far. I think I got all the ones going north-south and west-east. Stupid south-north and east-west.

So all I did tonight was watch you tube fan vids (damn tv cut out RIGHT before the office started!) Here is a great little Jim one, and a HYSTERICAL one for Andy fans!
