THE OFFICE S4 Spoilers – Summer Vacation (New NBC Promo)

OH MY GOD!! NBC just released a new promo for Season 4 of THE OFFICE and it’s beyond dawesome. Want to know what your favorite Dunder Mifflinites have been up to on their summer vacation? Well how about they tell you in their own words!! There are some spoilers but ones that Greg Daniels and crew clearly were ok with letting slip.

My take on the spoilers after the jump!!
- How crazy awesome was that?!!! So let’s discuss, shall we?
JimJimmy dumping Karen’s ass in New York City – well I guess we know that he definitely dumped her before asking Pam out. Gotta love that. And it seems that Karen is back in Scranton…interesting.
- Pam letting her hair down? I think I liked it better up, but hey, if Jim likes it then so do I.
- Ryan…at Corporate…with a beard? We thought he was an insufferable asshat in Scranton – we haven’t seen anything yet.
- A bitter Kelly Kapoor makes me so beyond happy. I hope she goes all Left Eye Lopes on him and burns down his house.
- Creed…how I’ve missed you!!
- Did I mention Jim dumped Karen in NYC?!
So much to talk about, but I thought I would leave some of it for you!!

SO EXCITED!!!!
That was beyond fantastic. Jim’s hair grew back. and I can believe that Karen is still in Scranton. Why hasn’t she left?

If we are going on looks alone, I think that Karen looks better than the 30% improved Pam. It looked like she was wearing an apron. I’m a big fan of Ryan and I think he’s going to be a big dick this season which is going to be funny to watch unfold.
I thought that Ryan’s new beard made him look like Greg Daniels….hmmm. LOL. So glad you guys liked it. I love when I can share stuff like this.
LMAO at Stanley and Creed. Karen actually made me laugh for the first time. I can’t wait!!
I loved it! Definitely makes waiting for September 27th a little easier. Loved Jan making Michael watch “Y Tu Mama Tambien”, which of course means Throw mama from the Tambien. Classic!
“I think I dated a black girl” – that guy is going to be insufferable this year.
OMG! That was extremely dawesome! I can’t believe it – is Sept. 27 here yet? I absolutley laughed at the new look Ryan’s sporting over at corporate! And I cannot wait to see more of Kelly without Ryan – what exactly was that shirt she was wearing? I’m also so glad that we got some insight into what happened with Jim and Karen in NY and a look at the “new Pam.”
Only wish they could have had everyone in the promo – where were Meredith, Oscar and Toby? I guess that might have made it too long. (TWSS 😉 )
I figured they didn’t want to show Meredith as she has a particular part in the season premiere.
As for Oscar and Toby I’m not sure where they are. I want to know what Toby has been up to.
I kind of felt bad for karen crying near the fountain. But i got over it.
Tina, I felt bad for Karen in that promo too. Especially since Pam looked so happy when she mentioned Jim. I was never on Team Karen but I didn’t hate her, and I think she proved that if it weren’t for Pam she could have made Jim happy. If she had to be in the office with them as they started dating, that had to be really difficult.
Thank you for making my day…it’s like seeing old friends again. It’s going to be a good year.

Here’s my two cents on the whole Karen in Scranton thing and why it has the potential to be awesome for Jim and Pam fans…
So we pick up in real time and Karen is still in Scranton. We know from interviews with Greg Daniels & co that she won’t be around for long. So I think that Jim and Pam didn’t want to really commit to each other during the summer because (a) they wanted to get their friendship back on course and (b) they didn’t want to rub it in karen’s face. So when the season premiere picks up, Jim and Pam are only very casually dating. Karen will leave in the first few eps and Jim and Pam will get more serious. It’s a win-win-win: Karen leaves. We the audience get to experience Jim/Pam courtship and well, the third win is, does it really matter?!
Woo hoo! I am 30% more excited than ever to see the new season! Can’t wait to see how it goes down with Pam and Jimmy….and what is Jan up to?
Interesting facial hair for Ryan, was he going for Don Johnson circa ‘Miami Vice’, or can B.J not grow a full beard? Heh, can’t wait to see how much he’s changed, and I loved Kelly’s little dig.

I agree with your take on the JAM situation. I don’t think Jim and Pam would flaunt their new found happiness in front of a heartbroken …(or most likely ticked off) Karen.
Can I just say Ryan is a jerk! lol …but kind of liking the beard ha ha
I guess the writers use “the beard” to really change a character’s personality. Last year it was Roy and now it’s Ryan. HAHA.
What I would give to meet some of Creed’s illegitimate children.

I forgot to mention this before. My best friend’s brother works at Best Buy and he has already seen the Season 3 DVDs. I guess Rainn Wilson says on more than one occasion that he is TEAM KAREN. That hurt my heart.
I HOPE we get to hear more about the trip to the Poconos. Poor Angela.

Sheesh, I thought I was already as anxious and excited for the new season of The Office as I could possibly be, but nope, it turns out I could get anxiouser and exciteder. Okay, I’m a dork. P.S. Michael saying that he walked out of Ratatouille because he didn’t buy it was the best part…well, aside from Michael telling Dwight, “Your life is just so…disgusting.” Oh my god, SO funny.

Inner tubing, water skiing and water works by a fountain in NYC. It doesn’t get much better than that.
I love 30% more unpredictable Pam. I thought she looked beautiful with her hair down in soft waves.
Poor Phyllis. I hope she invites Michael and Jan over for dinner and serves Michael on the Transformers dishes.
As for Ryan, the beard doesn’t do it for me, maybe it will look better once it grows in more. His personality hasn’t changed a bit, he’s still a jerk. Can’t wait to see what his character does this season.

I’m really suprised that they were willing to post such a long, and spoilerific, video. Last year they wouldn’t tell us anything.
And I’d have to say that Creed’s line was the best of the bunch.

– The best clip had to be Ryan. I am so glad it looks like that they are going the route of making him totally insufferable. Which will play so well off Michael.
– Pam’s hair is nice enough in the clip. But here is hoping Pam rocks the ponytail this season. I would love her in a ponytail! Why should Angela get all the fun.
– Still don’t feel sorry for Karen. But glad to know Jim didn’t ditch her in NY without talking to her first.

LOL MattR – I was wondering where that discussion had moved to , and it seems here it is!! This video made my whole week. Seriously awesome from start to finish, and I actually cheered out loud when Karen announced that Jim ‘dumped her crying ass’ at a fountain in NY! (Is that wrong?) Ryan is just so full of himself he may burst, and I want to be first in line to watch Stanley burst his bubble. And you could see just the hint of JAM as Pam talked about Jim calling her hypocritical. Delicious! Loved every second!
Although I am happy Jimmy dumped Karen, she is taking it like a champ, which kind of makes me sorry to see her go.

Well, now you ensured that I am so excited for the new season that I can’t stand it. I buy every season on iTunes, but officetally’s site convinced me today that I have to buy the DVD set next week for the extras. I am going to have to start some projects around the house to make the wait go faster until the new season starts.

I could not agree more!!! The “other” board has gotten completely ridiculous and is no longer any fun. I used to visit it multiple times a day but lately only go over once or twice a week. Bbut after all the crap over the last few days about this video (of course it’s a spoiler – only the biggest thing we’ve gotten all summer!), I may be done with it all together. It sucks because I was so glad to have a place to discuss my Office obsession with others. What a shame that one person can take something that was so great and completely destroy it in a matter of a few months.
Sorry, I had to rant about it since I can’t do it over there without getting my post deleted or getting a warning.

I thought it was hilarious when Karen had her TH. She is finally able to make me laugh just as she’s leaving.
