What to Watch…Wednesday, October 10, 2007

October 10, 2007 by

After a relatively quite TV night we’re back with a jam packed scheduled again tonight. So much to watch and so much to talk about. Here’s what’s going to be on my DVR by night’s end. Isn’t just obscene? I will admit that I’ve been TiNoing America’s Next Top Model and Life and watching later in the week. I mean, what am I suppose to do? Just skip sleep on Wednesdays?

Pushing Daisies “Dummy”
Ned suspects foul play when an automotive expert dies in a mysterious traffic accident. Meanwhile, Chuck presses Ned about how he revived her. (Video Promo | Episode pictures)

Gossip Girl | 9pm on The CW

America’s Next Top Model | 8pm on The CW
“The Girls Who Goes Bald”
The models receive dramatic makeovers and one contestant is shocked when she is required to have all of her hair cut off. Later, the women take part in a runway challenge and a jungle-themed photo shoot. The judges send one model home.

“In Which Addison Finds the Magic”
Addison turns to Pete for help in treating a newlywed couple who can’t consummate their marriage, though not from a lack of effort; Violet tries to persuade a patient to leave his wife, even though she can’t put her own failed marriage behind her.

Life | 10pm on NBC
Life (NBC)“Trickster”
The husband of a murdered carjacking victim won’t identify a suspect, leaving Crews and Reese to determine the truth behind the killing. Elsewhere, Crews confronts the detective who put him in jail.

Dirty Sexy Money | 10pm on ABC
Dirty Sexy Money“The Italian Banker”
Nick deals with a blackmailer who claims to have a sex tape featuring one of the Darlings. Meanwhile, Patrick breaks up with Carmelita, and Jeremy tries to keep Juliet from finding out about his affair with her nemesis.

Also playing…

Canadians lucked out because Pushing Daisies airs here on Tuesday nights as well as Wednesdays (Canadian feed then American feed). It’s just such a cute show. I can see why people might be turned off by its saccharine nature but I find it endearing.

I’m in the same boat GMMR… ANTM and Pushing Daisies at 8 pm (Kid Nation is going to be watched online). Private Practice and Gossip Girl at 9. Since Top Chef is over, I might throw DSM in at 10.

I find myself looking forward to Gossip Girl more and more…who knew? I never was a fan of shows like The OC, etc but I can’t not watch this show…I think Dan might have something to do with that! On a more serious note, I like how they are trying to spin Serena’s negatives into positives, make her not so much of a stereotype.

And PP is the new Grey’s in my book- so lighthearted, so fun, no character seriously comparing themselves to Bambi…

After a couple weeks of being a little disappointed with Private Practice, I’m really glad I stuck with it! Tonight’s episode finally seemed to “click” for me and has made me optimistic for the rest of the season.
