Any ONE TREE HILLS Fans Out There?

With no end in sight for the WGA strike, I find myself craving new television…whatever it may be. And thus I have decided that I’m going to give the new season of ONE TREE HILL a shot. The new season is picking up for years into the future and the kids of Tree Hill are given a new lease on life, and as such I will also give ONE TREE HILL a second chance.
I’ve got the 2-hour Season 5 premiere as well as the episode after in my possession and I’ll probably watch it tonight. Are there any GMMR readers that are OTH fans (besides my friend Jim)? If I’m going to be watching I at least want to know that someone else is going to be watching along with me. So if you’re a fan, speak up!

I will be watching. I’ve watched OTH pretty much from the beginning. I am hoping the show will benefit from the push into the future because I wasn’t enjoying it as much last season as I had in the past. However, with the strike, whether I enjoy it or not I’m sure I’ll still be watching.
I definitly will be watching the brand new season of OTH.
I’ve been addicted for the past four years. I think you may really enjoy the new season. I CANT WAIT! I would rather have new episodes of The Office but im okay with this!

I didn’t watch last season because I was getting bored with the direction the show as taking. However, my boredom over the lack of television caused me to dvr the marathon on the soap network which I am going to catch up on and then watch the new season premiere. I hope it doesn’t suck!

Ugh. My resolution this year was to stop watching OTH. But the strike drought plus my love of Peyton makes me want to watch again. It’s my only guilty pleasure……bust. I’m so in.

I’m watching! It’s not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, though it’s never made me love it as much as I loved Dawson’s Creek and The O.C.
Not even the strike would get me to watch One Tree Hill. It just isn’t my type of show, but I can definitely understand why you would be interested at this point. I watched the two-hour Law & Order premiere, and I even taped the last ER to watch this weekend. I haven’t been interested in them for the last few years, but now I am just desperate for something decent and new to watch.
I am “One Tree Hill” watcher 😉 Hopefully the season won’t be as bad as it looks and Nathan and Haley will go back to being pretty before the season premiere is over. Regardless, with the lack of television going on I am looking forward to watching it!
I’ll definitely be watching! I’ve been watching since season 1. Even though last season wasn’t the greatest… I’m hopeful that they’ll rebound this year =)
I’ll be watching. I’ve watched from the beginning. Once I start watching something, I can’t seem to give it up (no matter what)…unless it’s Desperate Housewives.
Totally guilty pleasure! When I think I hate this show, something happens (Nathan gets a haircut?!) and I am back on board!
I’ll be watching. I’ve seen some of the previews of this season and I’m happy that they decided to pick up the story 4 years in the future. All the old stories had pretty much dried up so it made sense. Hopefully, the addition of KFed will make this season spectacular 😛 (I’m going to see Kate Voegele, who has a 6-ep arc playing Mia, in a couple weeks on The Rock Boat, so that’ll be kinda cool, too)

I’ve never seen an entire episode of One Tree Hill, but I think I might try to watch. Since there’s nothing else on… 🙁
Started watching One Tree Hill last year sometime when I recorded it by mistake after AMT I am so glad I did. I never got in to anything like Dawson or the OC I had pretty much given up on teenager type shows being 27 my self but I love One Tree Hill. Thanks to the Soap Network I got totally caught up on the series.
Now if we can get this writters strike over and bring The Office back I will be all set! 🙂
One Tree Hill is my number 1 guilty pleasure show! I didn’t watch it until last year, but I bought all the seasons on DVD. This summer, I got my boyfriend hooked. I’m interested to see how this season goes. Its not as good as Gilmore Girls or Veronica Mars, but its a great show that’s well worth the time.
One Tree Hill is like TV crack. I can’t stop watching it, but I don’t know why sometimes. I didn’t watch it until this summer. Me and my roommate would come home from work and watch the repeats on Soap every freaking day. It’s say to see two men in their mid-twenties having a beer watching what is basically a teenage soap opera. So, definitely tuning in for the new season.
LOVE it. I think you might find that you enjoy it too!!!! I hope so… I would love to hear what you have to say about the new season.
I love One Tree Hill. I watched the first season and then stopped (I couldn’t handle the constant mockery from my husband and sister). Now thanks to Soapnet, I am addicted again. I dvr it everyday and watch it because there is nothing new on in the evenings, damn you strike! I am now officially the world’s oldest One Tree Hill fan!
