CHUCK Returns to NBC

January 10, 2008 by

Chuck (Zachary Levi)Fans of CHUCK – your boy is back!! At least for one night. NBC has just announced that the last two new episodes of CHUCK will be hitting the air later this month. Good news, of course as I’ve been missing Bartowski, Casey, Sarah and the Buy More guys, but on the other hand we have to say goodbye to them again. Never a good thing

In a bizarre scheduling move, NBC will be airing the final two episodes in the same night…but not back-to-back. The two episodes will be sandwiched in between an hour of the dreadful Celebrity Apprentice. Why they aren’t airing the two eps together is bewildering enough, but why NBC is opting to air the two shows on the same night, rather than giving viewers two new weeks of eps is beyond me.

But looking on the bright side, the story of Chuck Bartowski will be back and I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to finding out just what John Casey will do about his new orders.

Send NBC a message and tune in to CHUCK on Thursday, January 24th at 8pm (then shut off the TV when Celebrity Apprentice comes on) and then tune back into CHUCK for the final new episode at 10pm.

I’m so happy we get two more epi’s of Chuck! I’ll be setting my dvr for the two shows. Thank god it won’t tape the crap in the middle!!

Yay to two episodes of Chuck, but a big huge boo to them both being on the same night, with the worlds most evil show in the middle. Can’t NBC allow me to actually enjoy television on two different nights?

That’s… weird. Haha, I guess it’s just a way to try to keep viewers watching for a steady three hours.

Oh well. I’m glad they’ll be airing the episodes, period!

Random: I’ve always wondered if I turn my tv off but it’s still on NBC does it make the ratings people THINK I’m still watching that channel? Seems like a silly question but I don’t want to support the shows I don’t care for..

Why does it say Scrubs will be on that night too, then, if Celebrity Apprentice will make up the middle of the Chuck sandwich??

I’d like to be in the middle of a Chuck sandwich!!

Um, did I just say that out loud?

Great! This is our favorite show. How do I give NBC feedback to bring them back for another season?

What is wrong with NBC. This is a great show with lasting ability and you act like it is just another fill in show. Great writers and actors and a loyal fan base that is increasing as the word gets out. Bring back our Chuck.
