Cool. I’m glad the Academy is up to spreading the love and not having one person sing all the songs…I’m sure Kristin will do a great job.

This is the best news ever!! (Well for me) Enchanted is my favorite movie of 2007. Just knowing that Amy Adams is going to perform makes my day, but add Kristin Chenoweth to that and you get me smiling all night long.

That is very cool…Honestly before I found out that Amy Adams did her own vocals, I though she was dubbed with vocals by Kristen. AAMPAS made a very good choice to put her in the mix.

But are Glen and Marketa performing?

  9. okay on February 15th, 2008 2:51 pm

omg, if glen and marketa perform, the oscars will be worth watching just for the musical numbers. amy is my new favorite actress, kristen is awesome, and the once soundtrack is the best soundtrack ive heard in a while.

Soff, I totally agree! Kath, thank you so much for posting that clip of Enchanted — I can’t help but smile all the way through it. This is the first Oscar show I am actually looking forward to watching in so long, the musical numbers will be fantastic! I saw Kristin Chenoweth in Wicked so I am psyched, plus Amy Adams is adorable. If only Patrick Dempsey would be there to recreate the ballroom scene….sigh.

Amy I would love it if they recreated the ballroom scene – most romantic dance scene since..ever! And I love the song “So Close”. I would also love to see the chipmunk make a guest appearance 😛

If you have not heard or seen Kristin in anything except Pushing Daisies…check out the soundtrack to Wicked. Her vocals as Glinda are amazing. She was the original Glinda on Broadway and performs on the soundtrack with Indina Menzel who appears in “Enchanted”!!!! Also you can check out RV she does a little singing in that movie…more so at the end credits and Deck the Halls, she sings beautifully. Kristin is amazing I cannot wait for the Oscars!

Oh and since this is the only post I see that is in any way connected to Pushing Daisies…did y’all see Lee Pace’s new movie coming out with Sarah Michelle Gellar? I want to see it so bad just because he is in it. It’s called Possession. Looks good!
