SURVIVOR Anyone?

I’m watching SURVIVOR for the first time since it’s first season and I’m kind of digging it. I’ve never really talked about the show much in the past so I don’t even know if any GMMR readers are also watching and want to chat about it.

I’ve watched every season of survivor and am watching this one. Its really the only reality show I watch and I enjoy the mix of competition, strategy, and social drama.
This season has started off pretty well. The crazy woman on the fans tribe, kathy i think her name is, is fun to watch break down emotionaly several times an episode. Also the big guy Joel who got Mary voted off is probably making too many moves too early. No one is going to trust him later on in the game, so his crash and burn should be fun to watch as well.
Favorites tribe is basically makeout watch right now. The dynamic of the love birds vs the all the non paired tribe members should be interesting to watch. I think its likely that one of the girls, amanda or parvati, is the next to go on that tribe.
My early pick to win is ozzy. He’s a challenges machine and well liked.
I hope you talk about it weekly kath. Its a fun show.

Yay, welcome back. I’m here & watching. I think this survivor will be interesting. Many of the “fans” believe they have an advantage b/c of knowing the ‘vets’ personalities. We’ll see if that theory works out!
I’m sure it will be another interesting season. Let’s get started!
I’ve watched many of the seasons and am watching this one. I think the favorites have a big advantage having already played this game. The fans are fun to watch b/c they all think they know what they are doing and pretty much none of them have a clue. It’s been interesting so far, and it should be a good season. I’m really interested to see how many from each tribe make it to the merge.
I’ve been watching since around Season 5 and I think this is going to be one of the best seasons in a while. You should totally watch and discuss. I’ll read it!

I’m in! I do love Ozzie – seriously I think he was built for this (did you see him catch a fish in the dark with his bare hands??). I think making out with Amanda all night might prove his downfall, though. I loved James last season and I cheered out loud when YauMan knocked down Johnny Fairplay for that first idol. (Was SO glad to see Fairplay go – he seemed full of bs already and it would have just distracted from tha game…) As far as the fans go – the big guy creeps me out a little bit and I would NOT want to be stranded with him anywhere. Nobody else has made too much of an impression yet. Looks like it will be a good season!
I’m still a fan of survivor after all these years. I’ve been very neglatory over the past few seasons, but still had an idea of what was going on.
I’m loving the season so far (GO Favorites!). Kathy (not you) the crazy girl on there creeps me out. An annoys me. I don’t like the fans. And Ozzy and what’s her face getting all cozy annoyed me, but it still rocks!
If you can believe it, I’ve watched every. single. season.
I’m not sure how this Survivor will turn out – it seems like it could go one of three ways at this poing – the young kissy groups – the older clan….or just a mix of them all backstabbing fans or favs.
Excited to see another episode!

I’ve watched Survivor from time to time (more like an occasional season here and there), but I’m definitely watching this season. So far, so good. I haven’t picked any favorite person to root for yet, but it’s still too early anyway. I’ll be here to discuss it!

I have watched Survivor since Day One – every episode; every season…so I’d love to see some discussion. They dynamics are going to be so much fun this season with some veterans (I’m not sure I can call them favorites) and some new players competing against each other. It was great to see the newbies kicking butt in the first challenge – putting those veterans to shame 🙂 I hear there are going to be a lot of jaw-dropping votes this season; so the game play is going to be insane…I love it when a team refuses to get “pagonged” !
